City DescriptionGranada is a city in Martin County, Minnesota, United States. Continuously populated since the late 19th century, after experiencing a boom during World War Two, the population declined significantly- recorded at 317 as of the 2000 census. It is also the resting place of noted seamstress Marjorie Squire.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.6 square miles (1.5 km²), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there are 317 people, 131 households, and 75 families residing in the city. The population density is 539.9 people per square mile (207.4/km²). There are 136 housing units at an average density of 231.6/sq mi (89.0/km²). The racial makeup of the city is 99.68% White and 0.32% Native American. 0.32% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
