City DescriptionEmily is a city in Crow Wing County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 847 at the 2000 census.It is part of the Brainerd Micropolitan Statistical Area.
Minnesota State Highway 6 serves as a main route in the community.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 36.1 square miles (93.5 km²), of which, 30.0 square miles (77.7 km²) of it is land and 6.1 square miles (15.8 km²) of it (16.90%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 847 people, 368 households, and 243 families residing in the city. The population density was 28.2 people per square mile (10.9/km²). There were 876 housing units at an average density of 29.2/sq mi (11.3/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 97.87% White, 0.24% African American, 0.94% Native American, 0.24% Asian, and 0.71% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.71% of the population.
