City DescriptionClear Lake is a city in Sherburne County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 266 at the 2000 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2.1 km²), of which, 0.8 square miles (2.0 km²) of it is land and 1.23% is water.
U.S. Route 10 and Minnesota State Highway 24 are two of the main routes in the community.
As of the census of 2000, there were 266 people, 102 households, and 68 families residing in the city. The population density was 335.4 people per square mile (130.0/km²). There were 103 housing units at an average density of 129.9/sq mi (50.3/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 97.37% White, 0.75% African American, 0.38% Native American, 0.38% Asian, and 1.13% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.13% of the population.
There were 102 households out of which 37.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.9% were married couples living together, 7.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.4% were non-families. 26.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
