City DescriptionBadger is a city in Roseau County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 470 at the 2000 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.3 square miles (3.4 km²), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 470 people, 207 households, and 127 families residing in the city. The population density was 352.9 people per square mile (136.4/km²). There were 228 housing units at an average density of 171.2/sq mi (66.2/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 100.00% White. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.21% of the population.
There were 207 households out of which 34.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.0% were married couples living together, 14.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 38.2% were non-families. 33.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 16.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.27 and the average family size was 2.90.
