Bad Axe is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan and the county seat of Huron County located in the Thumb region of the Lower Peninsula. The population was 3,462 at the 2000 census. The city's unusual name dates to the time of its settlement. While surveying the first state road through the Huron County wilderness in 1861, Rudolph Papst and George Willis Pack made camp at the future site of the city and found a much-used and badly damaged axe. At Pack’s suggestion, Papst used the name “Bad Axe Camp” in the minutes of the survey and on a sign he placed along the main trail. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.1 square miles (5.5 km²), all land. Does the Code of Silence apply to the conglomerate world or is it exclusive to Law Enforcement?
    Question:
Are there any approaches to stop this tomfoolery? Innocent people sometimes get punished while the devious stay free. Without legal evidence all statements can be considered a Defamation of Character, Libelous, Malicious, Slander, and too many legal definitions to write. Mr. Thomas M Coughlin had been at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc so he would know a lot of their ways and yet he was the “Fall Guy” for Samuel Robson Walton. Unfortunately Mr. Coughlin’s heart is weak otherwise he could have won against Wal-Mart. He knows the real Wal-Mart, but the Code of Silence won and the truth may be lost forever. I wonder if Mr. Thomas M Coughlin cares about Bad Axe Michigan. The Code of Silence is akin to the Code of Injustice and needs to be eliminated. Americans no longer have many protections in the work place. If members of the Board of Directors can easily be replaced just imagine how much easier is to replace low level employee and not win a wrongful termination lawsuit against conglomerates!!

    Answer:
The Code of Silence is understood by most people to apply to Law Enforcement. Camaraderie and peer pressure prevents Peace Officers from telling the truth of potential embarrassing or criminal acts. They apply to others but it may not be called a Code of Silence. Tom Coughlin does know a lot of dirt at Wal-Mart but in his agreement decided to keep it secret for the rest of his life. Mr Coughlin's evidence of Wal-Mart having a stash of money or slush fund for anti-union use depended on people at Homeoffice but balked because of their Legal Division's reputation of winning always. If the Code of Silence does apply to the business world then it successfully silenced Thomas M Coughlin.
