I eat here for breakfast regularly. The service is very fast, the food hot and fresh. It's a small town place so expect quirky service but it's pleasant. They do not accept credit or debit cards so bring your checkbook or cash. Don't sit too close to either front or back door in the winter, it's a bit drafty.

A small, cozy bar with excellent food! If you have never had a fried pickle before then this would be the place to order it for the first time. Excellent! Also try the club with smokey mayo. YUMMY! This place is one of our favorites! Try it, I think you'll like it.

The Downtown Bakery & Deli is a great place for lunch. I order there often and I enjoy the staff as well as the service. I have never had a complaint about how my order was handled and the food is very fresh and delicious.

I cannot say that I have ever really ate at the Grill House proper. Every time I went, only Rock Bottom - the bar in the downstairs area - was open at the time. Having lunch down there was nice, but I am disappointed to have never experienced the actual "Grill House." The decor was interesting (late Caveman era) and the wait staff was somewhat competent. I have to admit, it was better when my employer was paying, although the number of orders must have overwhelmed them because it took forever to get our appetizers.

When this place opens in the summer it's packed. At first because it was an old building that hadn't been used for many years and the public wanted to support it; then with the great service and surprisingly good prices it's become a local favorite. In the summer our family goes here every week, sometimes twice or three times a week for icecream. Everything is very clean in the beginning of the summer, by later summer the picnic tables are sticky about anywhere you want to sit and the bees seem to make hives in the garbage cans. Still, it's one of our families favorite places for ice cream.

The waitresses seem to try there best 1 out of every 4 visits. The service is the biggest downfall here though the food is just fine. The normal situation is one waistress for 15 tables and from the looks they're getting highly underpaid and don't want to be at work. Expect very long waits and screaming kids all around. We now only 'take out' or get 'delivery' from here, dining in is just not an option here, it's utterly awful.

Drive on up and roll down your window for a great 1950's experience. The waitresses don't wear rollerskates or skirts but it's just as fun. Eating from a plate off the side window is a bit tricky these days as they are designed at angles instead of straight and level like years past, but if you can keep your food from sliding off the tray to the ground it's a great eat. When you're done make sure you start your car and turn the lights on for your vehicle, or you could sit there all day before they come to pick up the tray so you can leave.
