Questions Possibly Related to Akron, MichiganProvided By Y! Answers
What happened to OSU!!! Questions might still remain but they survive don't they unlike Michigan? Question: Earlier question on OSU losing. OSU defense shuts out Akron as points on an early safery by offense failure. Akron had no Rushing yards in game based on shut down by defense. So who has the early edge in the Big Ten based on out of confrence games- Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio State, or Penn State.
Answer:
^^^^Yeah. People said the same thing about OSU in 2002.
We all know what happened in 2002.
Wisconsin, OSU and Penn State will be the powerhouses this year. Michigan doesn't have the defense to get through their schedule. They have good offense with Hart and Henne, but they are god awful against the spread.

Do you find it more sad that Michigan and Notre Dame are both 0-2 or that one will have to win this week? Question: I really would love for this game to end up in a loss for both teams. Really, I don't think either one should be taking the field right now. Both of them are destroying the tradition and recruiting appeal of both schools. The Big Ten is a joke this year and Michigan lloks like the biggest clown of the bunch. My next question may have to be on the possibility of Illinois winning the Big Ten. They may have the best athlete in the conference as QB! Meanwhile Michigan sucks! Ohio State struggled with Akron and Wisconsin should have lost to UNLV. These were supposed to be big name teams in a big name conference! Has the Big Ten lost it's right to call itself a powerhouse conference? It cannot even be argued that the Big Ten is the top conference at this point and please DON'T EVEN compare it to any other big time conference in college football. Michigan is also a great reason why preseason rankings should be done away with!
Answer:
I agree with part of what you said in that the Big10 reputation has been severely tarnished. There is NO powerhouse team in the entire conference. I also believe that the first poll should be released like the BCS poll.....later in October.

What is this college football warm-up song called? Question: If you love college football like me, then you know what I'm talking about. This song has no words and has a techno sound to it. I think I've heard 6 different D-1A schools including Clemson, Central Michigan, Ole Miss, Western Michigan, Akron, and Miami (Ohio) play this before they kick off after a touchdown. I know there's more, but I can't recall all of them now.
Answer:
I believe you're talking about Kernkraft 400 by Zombie Nation.

How big of a joke is Ohio States schedule this year? Question: Youngstown State
Akron
Washington
Northwestern
Minnesota
Purdue
Kent State
Michigan State
Penn State
Wisconsin
Illinois
Michigan
If they can win the michigan game, do you think they will have a chance to get blown out of another championship game?
Answer:
they'll lose at least one.. maybe 2 of those and even if they went undefeated there is NO way a schedule like that gets a BCS Championship birth this year... I'd take a 12-1 SEC team over that

OSU fans...? Question: Tell me ONE proven team that your team played this year.
Northern Illinois (7-5) Lost to numerous UNRANKED teams.
Texas (9-3) Lost to UNRANKED Kansas St. and Texas A&M.
Cincinnati (7-5) Lost to UNRANKED Pittsburgh
Penn St. (8-4) Lost to a 17th ranked Wisconsin.
Iowa (6-6) Lost to UNRANKED Indiana & Northwestern
Bowling Green (4-8) Lost to UNRANKEDCentral Mich., Temple, and Akron.
Michigan State (4-8) Lost to NUMEROUS Unranked Teams.
Indiana (5-7) Lost to NUMEROUS Unranked Teams.
Minnesota (6-6) Lost to UNRANKED Purdue and Penn State.
Illinois (2-10) Lost to NUMEROUS unranked teams.
Northwestern (4-8) Lost to NUMEROUS unranked teams.
Michigan (11-1) I won't even bother with their schedule, and you almost lost to them.
Penn State?
My next question is how can you be so sure they'll beat Florida with that schedule?
Can someone give me valid points, I mean points that would stand up? Two No.2 teams that lost to UNRANKED teams doesn't stand a chance. Please someone answer the question.
Excuse me one of those two No. 2 teams is Michigan and they didn't lose to a unranked team, they don't have a schedule that would stand up to even Vanderbilts.
Before you say Michigan please do some research of Michigan's Schedule.

Answer:
I don't believe that the Bucks have played any proven #2 teams. When Texas was ranked there, it was at the beginning of the season and Mich had the same schedule. Therefore, all those confident Bucks fans might leave Glendale a little disappointed, the Gators may not crush everyone, but they get what matters, the W.

Could Northeast Ohio support a Nextal Cup track? Question: Would it be profitable or even desired to build a track somewhere near Cleveland? Akron, perhaps. In between, or down the road? I would love to see it, being from Cleveland. And I think it would draw great crowds, like near by tracks like Michigan and Pococno. Would anybody here support it? What kind of track would you like to see?
Answer:
this is a odd question maybe they could support it but it will NEVER happen the polititans in ohio have proven over the last 30 years they dont support sports teams or there facilities
LOOK AT OLD MAYOR MICHEAL WHITE had enough funding to build a 80000 seat multi use domed arena for football and baseball and he said screw the browns and built a 42000 seat baseball stadium and a basket ball arena next door the browns got left in a 60 plus year old stadium and left for baltimore

Who will be BCS #2 tommorow? Question: Will it be Oregon or LSU? In my opinion if I was a voter I would go with Oregon but I think the computers will go with Oregon because of strength of schedule. It's tough to call but really I think Oregon and LSU are the top two teams in the nation. Ohio State isn't even that great of a team and struggled with a Wisconsin team who didn't have PJ Hill most of the game. And who did they play Youngstown State, Kent State, and Akron. And those Michigan losses to App State and Oregon will maybe hurt the Buckeyes in the future because your conference has to win non-conference games.
Answer:
LSU has played a rather tough schedule as well as Oregon, but I think Oregon is playing better right now.
You can flip this one either way and make a hell of an argument and I wouldn't be shocked if Oregon slipped into the two-spot.

Your take on the BCS Title game? Question: I say that this game proved what i believed all along: that ohio State is an overrated, immature, unprepared football team that has 11 wins at the expense of cupcakes like akron and Youngstown State. Michigan was BTEER then Ohio state this year, but the Wolverines shot themselves in the foot 10 tims over, allowing the Buckeyes to win by default. Chris Wells was good, but Michigan still held Ohio state to 277 yards and 14 points.
Anyways, what do you think? isn't Ohio State a total joke who never shoyuld have been in the BCS title game? And how about their immaturity? everytime LSU was successful on offense or defense. the Buckeyes had a personal foul. they are so used to ganging up on cupcakes, that now that they verse quality competition and get ebaten, they take it like panzies. Remember the Illinois game? When OSU started that shoving match? SHIT the Buckeyes are sore loosers!
Answer:
I totally agree with you, Ohio state feeds on the weak and gets owned by the strong. If there was a playoff system ohio state wouldnt make it all the way, Michigan is an awesome team, and in the last two years played not the best against ohio state, giving them the win by fault.
PS: Last year should have been Ohio state vs Michigan... not Ohio state vs Florida, but we all know there are politics in sports

The US dollar is quite cheap compared to the Euro, which means once you make the trip to the USA, you only pay about half the price you would in the UK for the things you buy.
However, Most American products are known for speedy delivery more so than quality. But we do have our high-end stores.
Answer:
I totally wouldn't be able to choose.
But if I had to pick I'd go to California, New York or Florida I think.
Ohhh actually I don't know.
I'd want to visit all the places I did about in history when we did about the opening up of the American West.
So yeah, ALL of them!

Answer:
You're in California, why not go to UC???? Go Tritons!!!!
Oh I didn't read your question entirely, if you'd decided to stay in Calif, I'm hoping you'd apply to UCSD or any schools in UC system. Sure its competetive, but hey, it's the best public university in the nation. Since you love the cold, it's not in your list but University of Washington, Seattle perhaps? Sorry I'm not familiar with your chosen universities.

OSU's defense is ranked 5th in the nation, huh? Question: So, buckeye fans, based on what? The fact that you stopped Youngstown State, Akron, Washington, Northwestern, Minnesota, Purdue, Kent State, Michigan State, Penn State, Wisconsin, Illinois (oops...not that one..sorry), and your only real game of the season vs. Michigan? And the second part of my question is...Does this schedule embarrass you because it should!
Mike B...I agree that most teams do play cream puffs at some point in the year, but not ALL SEASON LONG!!! Who are you trying to kid here?!
Mike B...I'm still not convinced, even with your new edit. The only reason Illinois is playing in the Rose Bowl is because they beat an OVERRATED OSU!!! I do, however, agree that the Big Ten is down this year, but if you know that, why don't you schedule some tougher non-conference games?!
Answer:
AMEN!!
I've had questions deleted because of bashing OSU.

Should I transfer law schools? Question: I currently attend the University of Akron, which is not in the Top 100. I failed myself by not even looking at rankings when I decided to go to law school. I did well my first year and have applied to transfer to a few better schools. Michigan because it's such a good school and Florida because I would like to practice in Florida eventually (but not necessarily right away). I was accepted to both. I also am waiting on a decision from Penn.
My question: Should I transfer? I currently receive a full-tuition scholarship. To transfer to Michigan, I'll need to take out another $60-70K in loans over the next two years. Florida is less bad, with just $20K in loans over the next two years, but it's not the stellar school that Michigan is. I do want to be with a big law firm, so I figure that means the loan will be easy to pay off, but I also don't want to do that the rest of my life (thinking a max of 10 years before doing private practice and seeking an academia position) THX!!!
Answer:
With a degree from Michigan, you can go anywhere. Go there if you can.
Or else, stay at Akron and take out no student loans and get the best grades. If you think you can graduate cum laude or better at Akron stay there.
I wouldn't bother with Florida.
