    Adrian is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 21,574, with the 2006 population estimated at 21,703. It is the county seat of Lenawee County, which is in Michigan's 7th congressional district. Adrian is approximately 30 miles southwest of Ann Arbor, 30 miles southeast of Jackson, and 30 miles northwest of Toledo, Ohio. A portion of the city is on the border between Adrian Township and Madison Charter Township, although the city is politically independent of both. The city's urban area extends beyond the city limits into both of those townships as well as into nearby Raisin Township and Palmyra Township. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 7.3 square miles (18.8 km²), of which, 7.1 square miles (18.5 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.3 km²) of it (1.80%) is water. The town is approximately 15 miles southeast of the Irish Hills area of Michigan. The Irish Hills is know for its many lakes and rolling hills and is home to the Irish Famine Memorial and Michigan International Speedway.     I would be very careful about investing in Adrian. It is a beautiful town but Pfizer is laying off 2400 workers in the area by the end of the yr. Many of my husband's coworkers live near or around Adrian. I would also check out to see how much the economy is tied to the auto industry. Any plants in the area that might be closing. How liquid do you need your investment to be? The housing market is pretty soft around here. How long could you tie up the money if you need for it to rebound...3, 4, 5 yrs. ? It may be a great investment. Just think about all the things that could go wrong. I live about forty five minutes from Adrian and the value of my home has dropped significantly in the last five yrs. But as far a town goes. Very up and coming.

    Maybe people forgot exactly how good Michigan was last year. The rocked and rolled throughout the year until Ohio State and USC. They thoroughly rocked Wisconsin's dome by 15 points. And the Big Ten is weaker now that Ohio State is not as talented as last year. We are basically Michigan's version of last year's Ohio State. Loaded Offense. Hart. Henne. Manningham. Jake Long. Adrian Arrington. Untested defense. However not terrible. And if we are this year Ohio State we will rock and roll all the way to the National Championship Game. Unlike them, we'll win. No way USC ends up in the National Championship. Not with their schedule. Watch out for Texas. Colt McCoy will only get better next year. That's scary. Oklahoma has no qb. all they have to do is beat them and A+M and Nebraska.

    Most of America feels the Big Ten is weak. Michigan has been on the blunt end of alot of critisim after their loss to App State and oregon this past season. jan 1 2008. Wolverines had everyone back and 100% and the nation saw Florida and their Heisman trophy winner dismantled by a team everyone said didn't have a chance. What everyone refuses to aknowledge is Michigan is loaded with talent. QB Chad Henne: He is now being looked at as one of the top QB in the current NFL draft. He was MVP on the capital one bowl and also in the Senior Bowl last weekend. He outperformed every other qb. Running back Mike Hart: This guy makes things happen. one of the best running backs in the country. WR: Michigan is loaded: Adrian Arrington, Mario Manningham ( these two are by far the best in the country) and they have Greg matthews and Carson Butler. Jake Long OT: Once again one of the best in the country. The list goes on and on. Michigan could have beat any team jan 1. Barely beat Florida?? Michigan beat Florida with 4 turn overs. Two of those were fumbles on the qoal line. Michigan could have beat LSU, I'm not sure about Georgia though

    I go to Adrian High School, I'm a Senior and nothing big has ever happened. Then last night (9-23-08) a guy I know (Marshall Sosby) killed his mom and dad by shooting them in the head. It has been on the news, and I still can't believe he did it. The weird thing is I don't feel right. Like I don't have any hate toward him, and I hardly feel sorry. Is this a kind of shock since I know the guy? I have a class with him and just seen him yesterday. He told people he was gonna kill his parents and no one took it seriously. I feel confused about the whole situation. How could he face his parents and shoot them down in front of his siblings (14, 13, and 3 yr. old). He's 17. Never had any other acts of violence prosecuted against him. He's been charged with two accounts of murder. What do you think will happen to him here in Michigan?     I am a friend of Marshall's and was shocked that I heard the news. I never would have thought that he would do something like that. However, despite this terrible crime he has committed, he will always be my friend. I do not, however, condone what he has done.

    My biggest tip is to MAKE SURE you have people in your band with the same musical goals and aspirations as you have. Otherwise, members will leave when they fall in love or get that dream job or decide they rather be a dentist instead. I would take an ok player willing to do the hard work and stick through all the ups and downs of having a band then someone excellent who never shows up and quits at the drop of a hat. Put ads in your local paper and on line. Go to some of your favorite local music venues and talk to people and network, the people that go to these places often know musicans and could probably put you onto some good leads. Good Luck!
