This is by far the best breakfast place on the Cape Cod. I love the history of this old little local diner. Even with movies and awards the owners, whom we just met, still remain modest and unassuming. Food is consistent and delicious. A lot of high-end breakfast concepts that hit all the senses, i.e. Seafood St. Clair (lobster, crab, season breadcrumbs wrapped in a crepe and topped with the best hollandaise). They have the best bacon we???ve ever had ??? hot off the griddle- not a steam table. Home fries are made fresh not frozen or deep fried. It???s all cooked in front of you. Fun place- nice staff.

I made reservations for 2 at 6PM to celebrate my 70th birthday. I had heard good things about the Red Pheasant restaurant. We were sadly disappointed. We arrived to find valet parking. The valet saw us and went into the restaurant so we parked nearby where there was lots of space. The valet then asked us to move our car to a nother lot. When we entered the restaurant we were onre of the first diners. I had asked for a special table when I made my reservation. We were seated by a window with the view of a large air conditioner. At6:15 we put in our complete order. The appetizers can in a timely fashion but our diners of scallops arrived at 7:45. During our wait the hostess came to apologize and our water came twice to apologize for our dinners delay. Once we finally received out dinners our plates were cold. Our waiter never returned to ask us if everything was OK with our meal. My water glass was never refilled and our empty dinner plates remained in front of us while we watched our waiter go several times past our table empty handed into the kitchen. We ordered dessert and a cordial and when the bill arrived it was presented to me!On leaving the restaurant we gave all out complaints to the hostess. She said she was sorry. A quaint little restaurant on Rt. 6A that offers friendly service and great food at an affordable price. Kids are welcome and treated well. The only negative is that there is often a wait in the summer, but what would expect from a great place to dine. Breakfast is top notch!

In the dunes, this 1938 knotty pine Northern Italian restaurant serves very good food at a reasonable but not inexpensive price. Blackboard specials and inexpensive regular menu items. Wines are very reasonable. Drive further down the road and watch the sunset. Arrive early - it's small and popular. No reservations. Have a drink in the bar while waiting or walk out back thru the parking lot to see a beautiful beach vista. Get the latest stargazing info from Edwin the parking lot attendant.

If you are going to the theatre, a movie or the museum, this is the perfect place to meet a friend for a light supper beforehand. The cocktails are sophisticated the oysters fresh and the menu selectiosn light and sumptous. Summer dining at its best.

Great food, fast. Everything is (or appears to be)homemade which makes a world of difference, because life is too short to eat chain restaurant food. Service is decent, not fantastic, but decent and consisitant. Great place for an adult (yes, I prefer to dine in restaurants without chiildren that's why I added the 'adult' part) evening with friends.

This is a great place for a quick meal, not a fancy restaurant. You order at counter and they bring the food to you, paper plates etc. You can eat indoors or outdoors. It is a great place for after the beach and the food is incredible. They have icecream there too. Try the orange freeze. Yummy! We love eating at Capt Frostys!
