The girls who work there are rather rude. I spoke English to one of them because she spoke English to me first. All of sudden, she rudely talked back and said, "Aren't you Korean?" I spoke Korean to finish ordering and didn't think much of it. Next time when I ordered, she pretended that both dishes I asked for were not available and I had to choose something else. It did not make sense because the replacing dishes used same ingredients. When I went to pick up the order, they were giggling. I realized that they had done it on purpose. I was courteous and smiled, and paid for the dishes she made me order. And I asked the owner, "Do all of you employees speak fluent Korean? because some Korean restaurants have employees who cannot. In that case, I should use English, don't you think?" she looked down and and said "yes" but did not apologize. They are paranoid. There are very few Korean Americans who feel embarrassed to speak Korean. It would be more correct to say that people tend to avoid people who aren't nice by not speaking Korean to them. If they have any senses, they should know that Koreans who are embarrassed to be Korean would not order Korean food at the restaurant. Having a chip on their shoulder is one thing but giggling and accusing the customer is as same as asking not to come back. The sad thing is that these girls are too grown to be doing this immature act and the owner who is doing it together is a mid age woman. I wonder if they felt more pride and strength as Koreans by collaborating on this! There are many ways accomplish unity and presence of Korea. Their judgment and taste was unfortunately very poor. Their food is ok. I am not going to be irrational and give them a bad review on that. But I can see why many people complain about their service. Please grow up.
