You want fine dining coupled with great ambiance then the Eastside Bar & Grill is the place to go ! The menu is diverse and flavor packed with such excellent choices as Swordfish Picatta, Veal Parmesan, Chicken Cacciatore, and a favorite of mine is the Steak Tips. You always get more than you expect. Everything is fresh with all the essentials such as excellent prices, very high quality, cleanliness, and top service. They also have a full bar with an extensive wine list. The Eastside Bar & Grill has become my favorite restaurant. I highly recommend it ! Try it !

I can't believe no one has written a review before of this icon of the student scene on JFK Street near the upperclass houses at Harvard!!! This place is so funky, the (canned) music so loud, the waitstaff so genuine, the texmex menu well done (get a burger and soups, too), the view from the patio so great, the intimacy (it's small) so endearing, how can I praise thee more, said the Bard of Avon.

I don't eat out due to the unhealthiness of takeout, however, The I frequent The Middle East at least twice a week. Great service, GREAT FOOD, an not expensive at all. If you go before 4pm ANY DAY you can get a very nice sized portion meal for only $6.00 which costs a little less than half of the same portion as dinner. P.S. Try the Lamb Shank. Delicious!

Puglieses touts itself as the oldest family owned bar in Cambridge and is in fact now owned by an ancestor of the original owner. The place has been renovated recently after a fire , and is a very lovely bar. Great ambience and anyone will feel comfortable relaxing here , the regulars and the staff are friendly and fun. On the weekends they have a DJ , he plays a great mix of oldies, country and rock and takes requests. There is a small kitchen but the times I have been there it was not staffed, however if you get lucky bartender Martha may offer you one of her world famous Chicken Salad sandwiches. Pug's as they call it has 2 HDTV's on the walls and sports is on constantly. Drinks are reasonably priced, a draft of PBR was 2.00 or 2.50. There are a couple of restaurants nearby to get take out and you may bring it to Pug's to enjoy. All in all a wonderful little place to relax and watch a game or listen to music.

IMO, the best seafood restaurant in Cambridge. Recommend the black board specials, which change every month or so and reflect local ingredients. Tried are true are the white pepper grilled tuna entree, the mahi mahi, and the tuna taco appetizer. BBQ is not to be missed either, especially the burnt ends of brisket sandwich. BTW, this place has a rocking latin style brunch which I believe is the best in Boston and Cambridge. One whole page of the menu is devoted to small dishes so that the perfect meal can be cherry picked. A make-your-own bloody mary bar is a fantastic feature and the house-made Real Inner Beauty Hot Sauce (habanero and mango and mustard seed) works almost as well as coffee as a morning eye-opener. Its always crowded but there's a reason for that... do yourself a favor and go to East Coast Grill for a night of fun, fine food, oysters, and margaritas... Even better, head there for Sunday brunch.

i liked the ambiance....the old music from the 80's and 90's.People were nice and service was also ok. Don't expect to get good excellent foods....in my opinion have dinner elsewhere and then go there. Sometimes the music stagnates but overall...good one The most disliking thinking about Phoenix landing apart from anything else was the washroom.....i thought that was dirty, smelly and they should really work on that...maybe recreate it and make it clean. Other than that,I enjoyed my stay there

I like this place. Way above average Mexican food. It is partly a bar with some local drunks in attendance. The ambiance is shall we say, ordinary. But the food is good and worth returning for.

CBC was great. I highly recommend you get pizza there with their awesome nachos as an appetizer. We had the lamb sausage and gouda cheese pizza, the sicilian trio, and a veggie pizza, all with the dough made with barley which actually compliments the beer. You can buy a fountain/tower of beer with your own spout that won't last long as soon as you find out how good the beer is. My favorite was a light beer with a golden colored texture. At first when you walk in it seems like the place is better suited to a cafe or a coffee house but you soon find out it is a great place for food, conversation and of course BEER. To get there from the Redline in Boston get off at Kendall and walk North. You will walk throught the Marriot and than turn left towards Kendall Square.

I went here one Saturday night with two friends. All of the tables were full except 3 or 4 large tables. On these tables was a tattered sign that read "Only for parties of 5 or more". I inquired with the wait staff and asked if we could sit at one of those tables even though we were only three people. She said no. I told her we would go someplace else then. She shrugged, so we took our business elsewhere. Apparently the restaurant manager prefer's empty tables rather than customers.

We ate at Christiopher's for the first time today and loved it. From the food to the service, everything was very good. We were there for the Sunday brunch. We particularly loved the vegetarian chili. The omelettes were excellent. I would have liked mine made with an egg beater type product, but they did not have that. The salad was fresh with a tasty avacado dressing. We eat out for almost all our needs and this place is a keeper for us. We'll be regulars there.

Heard fine things about Oleana and though I had had a less than impressive meal there 2 years ago, took a friend for dinner. Service was good. No complaints there. Appetizer was drowned in parsley and vinegar. We split it and couldn't finish it. Wines by the glass are poorly selected, one really terrible selection for a chardonnay at $12 a glass. I sent it back and got charged anyway. Monk fish was OK, but nothing special. And the dessert was supposed to be a lemon tart with cactus pear sorbet. The tart was one inch in diameter and the sorbet was dry and tasteless. I can't belive it. So many good reviews. I wanted to like it so much. And even my guest broke down and said, this is pretty bad. I'll probably never go back. 100 dollars down the drain.
