The service was quite poor, the waitresses were unfriendly, unattentive and all looked as if they had rolled out of bed. The food was mediocre at best. If you enjoy poor service and a big bill, this is the right place for you.

This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in MASS. The restaurant is in a moderate size, the menu is 2 pages long and they have a sushi list as well. Their sashimi is very fresh and cut nicely. They also serve the best miso soup. They also have tasty chicken teriyaki, and unagi bento box or una-don. This restaurant is owned by a geninue Japanese couple. If you are looking for a Japanese Restaurant where the chef is actually Japanese and not Chinese/Korean, this is a place you might want to try.

There are people that love this place, but I find that the burritos have too much rice in them: they are huge, but with all the filler, they are not all that flavorful, just full of rice and carbohydrates. I prefer Boca Grande, but neither is particularly good Mexican. My favorite Mexican in Boston is Tacos El Charro in J.P. They are slow, but pretty good.

I hear that they've changed ownership since when I was a regular, but I can tell you that I used to go to Family Restaurant for lunch a couple of times a week for several months running. It was within walking distance of my college and they had the best eggplant parmesan sandwich I've ever had. Excellent pricing, delicious food, and friendly service. Not the nicest place to eat, but not because of a lack of cleanliness or warmth. It's definately a good place to stop by for lunch sometime, try it out.

I have been there for breakfast/brunch and its great. However, yesterday 11/1/07 I went there for an after work burger and beer. I ordered the sirloin burger, medium with a beer. I'm a burger guy and always try to find "the" place that serves great burgers. I didn't know they even had them so I thought I'd check it out. This place has more of a diner feel, so it doesn't stick out as your traditional burger place. Well, I have to say, I was very pleasantly surprised. The burger, probably 1/2 lb in size, was cooked as I ordered- medium, it was very juicy and very tasty. One of the best burgers I've had in recent memory. I would go there again and would definitely reccomend the place to all burger lovers out there- check it out.

Much better than it looks like from the outside. The quality of the sushi is surprisingly high. They give fish generously. Their sushi rolls are also innovative and interesting.

I am of Hyderabadi descent and I love this place. Right amount of spice if you like that. My girlfriend is Lebanese and has a more dry taste and she loves it too. Definitely recommend.
