    Curious I would like to know anything people know about this institution. I am considering transferring there but know very little about it aside from being a great college for those interested in teaching.

    What about it? It's a reasonably good school, and the commuter trains stop there. [It's the second stop after the beginning of the line at Lakeville/Middleboro.]

    The f**k that murdered my brother is there . We have been waiting for him to be extradited back to NC for 3 years now. A judge in Nc set a bond, he made it and 17 hours later tried to kill someone else, now the jerk off has been held up there since then, what is going on up there?

    It's a state mental hospital for the crimminally insane. If he was found incompetent to stand trial in MA or found innocent by reason of insanity, he may be there for a VERY long time. It's a hell-hole. He's NOT enjoying his stay. See if you can find a copy of Titicut Follies, a documentary film made there in the 1960s.     yeah, my dad is an electrician who worked there. he said the only ppl he saw there were shackled and accompanied by guards. i dont know what constitutes a "prison" technically, but i'm pretty damn sure that if you're there, you're not having a good time. for a LONG time.

These are common questions, so they'll be able to answer, no problem. Know, however, that your financial aid should be able to help you out re: room and board. Financial aid doesn't just cover tuition.

    in MA?? pron cost about 100-200$$ depending on the size and detail...dont forget to tip them...about 25%!! Hmmm....a good place in boston to get ink is Tribal Ways, its on mass ave. I live in gloucester, and i go to salem-to either purple scorpion or sacred harp tattoo-which just opened up a couple months ago and hes fu*king awesome, and reasonably priced as well. i dont really know of anything down in your area though. you can go onto this site called inkednation.com, its like myspace for the tattoo community and you can search shops and stuff by location...only shops that have a profile will be on there but a ton of the shops do..so check it out, its pretty cool regardless... good luck!

    There is a good salon is Wellesley, MA. Its not too close to the south shore but its really nice and they always do a great job. Be prepared to spend some cash and book far in advance. "Ardan" is the name of the salon and its in Wellesley Center.

    I don't actually know where Bridgewater is in relationship to anywhere else in Massachusetts, so I'll just tell you some good acting programs in Mass., and hope that some of them are near you. The best schools for acting in Mass are: Boston University and Boston Conservatory (that last one for musical theater, specifically.) Those two actually rank up there with the best acting schools in the US. Other schools with good acting programs include Emerson, UMass Amherst, and Gordon College. Harvard has actually produced some amazing actors, but they aren't famous as a theater school, but it certainly would work. You could also find an okay acting program at other colleges, so long as the college is good, overall. ETA: I now know where Bridgewater is. It's on the south shore. Perhaps you could live in Quincy, and go to school in Boston? Quincy might be close enough to both Bridgewater and Boston to make this possible, and it's on the T, and has a lot of rental apartments. If not, if there's a commuter rail from Bridgewater or nearby, that'd really work re: going to school in Boston. So I'm thinking BU may be #1 on your list.

    I agree with the others: Hofstra and Drexel will be a pretty big reach with a 2.9 but the fact that he plays football may help. Everywhere else on the list will most likely be pretty easy to be accepted. Drexel is tops for engineering but a close neighbor to Drexel is USP (University of the Sciences in Philadelphia). I believe the IT program there would be stronger than most of the other schools on his list. Use collegeboard.com for information about SAT scores, average GPAs, cost, and deadlines.
