Spark Fish on Main Street in Brewster, MA has very pleasant warm and welcoming atmosphere and professional yet friendly servers. The vegtable stack is wonderful,fresh and full of a variety of flavors thoughout. The portions are generous yet not overwhelming and the food is cooked to perfection. The desserts a delight I take friends there when I want to treat then to a special meal.

Cobies is a great throwbck to better times. The place is clean and efficient. The owner, Rob Slavin, is one of the nicer men you'll meet, and he treats his staff well. Perfect summer fare. A definate must-see!

We had dinner in the bistro on a Thursday night at 6:30. Appetizers took about 20 minutes to arrive. But everything tasted good. Dinner was 50 minutes from being seated. The swordfish came out undercooked and both steak entrees came out missing the grilled onions. Everyone at the table was almost done when the waitress came back to check on us. The warm toffee cake was disappointing and the pistachio creme brulee did not a hard shell of sugar on top and was sent back taking 10 minutes to be returned and then it was very good. All in all a very average meal considering the prices.

I was a long time loyal customer of Bayside and used them for catering and probably 5-10 take out clam bakes for various visitors and family. They recently moved across the street and while the building is beautiful and the concept great - the execution is very poor. The new staff is poorly trained. The shelves are sparsely populated. The prices are very-very high - $10+ per pound for potato salad (I am not someone who minds paying for quality - but it is potatos!) What was worse is that when I recently ordered some lobsers - they were not done at the time we ordered them, they were not the size I ordered and paid for, were not properly cooked (undercooked and raw). When I brought this to Todd and Cathy's attention via email - I received a one sentence response telling me: "GET A NEW FISH MARKET". You would think that the owners of a business would want to know when something was not right , make things right, fix what caused the problem and to retain a loyal customer. In addition - they feel no conscious for taking my hard earned money but not providing me with what I paid for. The asian noodles are great though ... if they are in the case.
