Great place for sushi. They have a great Spider maki and their eel is also very good. The spicy seafood soup is also very good. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Japanese food. Good Japanese food is hard to come by in the Andover area, unless you want to pay top dollar. This place is very reasonable!

I recently moved here from Boston and I have been to the Tea Garden twice. I find it subpar to the Chinese style restaurants in the Boston area. In fact it's actually bad. The batter is inedible,the poopoo platter had warmed over spare ribs and day old chicken wings, neither especially tasty. The servers seemed overwhelmed, responding to whoever gets their attention instead of waiting just two or three tables. We where never asked how our meal was or if we needed anything. We ordered two entrees and received them 20 minutes apart instead of together which was our intent. I wish these nice folks well but unless things improve I will not return.

If you like Red Lobster, you'll love this place. The prices are good, but the seafood is simply mediocre. My wife and I went the other night with another couple and not one of the four entrees was anything to rave about, just typical previously frozen seafood. They do make a nice mixed drink, to be fair, but we were more interested in dinner.

I go to Cedar Crest all the time. I always sit on the diner side so my experience and comments are limited to the diner. I love it. GREAT Breakfasts all day, awesome cheseburgers and chicken parm. The specials are all incredible deals on fantastic comfort food. You gotta love the gravy on the pot roast, chicken and turkey dinners carved right off the bird. The service is great and there's secure parking out back. You can't go wrong at this Lawrence landmark.

The high ratings posted for this restaurant are well deserved. I lived in CA for many years and I understand and appreciate authentic Mexican food. The offerings found here are hearty, tasty, and authentic. I have tried many items from their menu and the food and service are above average. This is the best Mexican food to be had in the Merrimac Valley.

Called on Feb 12th to make reservations at 6:30 for 2. Requested to be seated near the fireplace. Arrived at 6:20, greeted, gave them my name. I thought the Matre'd would seat us where i had requested. Apparently there were people sitting there. Thinking the Matre'd would say "your reservation is not for another 10 minutes, would you like to wait. He did not. We sat down, service a little slow (still early), ordered our entrees and meal right then. Went to the salad bar, finished our salads, then came the appetizers, then our entrees. My friends meal arrived, (fish) and my Beef Wellington was served and it was almost raw inside. I ordered medium rare. Sent it back, again served to me raw. I told the waitress that I do not want this meal. She took it off the bill. After all said and done, the Matre'd has the nerve to argue with me. I have had a very bad experience at the "Depot". I would like to write "my comments" about my experience regarding this matter, but they request a letter or phone call. They are not getting either, I will not go back. So go to the "Depot" but don't get Beef Wellington, and remember the "customer" is always wrong with them.

Not open on Monday's, what a shame. But this is the only downside to Riverview - this is THE pizza place on the North Shore. It's unlike any pizza anywhere, it is the definition of pizza. The pizza is a bit sweet, these people know what they are doing. It's a goldmine! Expect to wait for a table Thur-Sun, 5-8 pm+. The restaurant opens at 4pm and parking can be a challenge. The restaurant is on a small side street off one of the main roads in Ipswich. The Ipswich commuter train stop is a short walk away. This restaurant has all the appearances of just another house on Estes street, so if it weren't for the cars parked along the side of the street, you might just pass it. Pizza's are one size - I wouldn't characterize it as small, but certainly not large. One pizza per person, if you don't finish it - makes for great leftovers. Price is right too, i'm not sure they have a pizza over $10. Cash only.

The one thing to keep in mind is that this restaurant has been around the Beverly area for over 30 years and it's well known. How well known? Consider this: there's always a heavy call volume for take out, they don't deliver because all the customers either dine there because it's that good or they do pick up. If people can go there out of their way for the food, it tells you something about the quality. I love it because the food can be altered to your liking and the service is excellent. What I like most is the Crab Rangoon, Beef Teriyaki, Ribs, and their Seafood is amazing. They also have a bar/lounge and there's always parking and seating. How much better can this be? Not much because it's there over 30 years for a reason. Try it!

Probably one of my top 5 favorite restaurants. I've been there many times & they are consistently very good. By far the best Italian on the North Shore. I've tried many dishes but my favorite (so far!) is the linguine with clams, also the grilled pear salad is fantastic! The desserts are too die for, impressive wine list too. Although the atmosphere is high-end, it is still casual and not at all stuffy or pretentious. Highly recommended.
