My friends and I go there alot whether it's to have a quiet dinner or to go out and dance. I would recommend it to anyone. The food is great and the employees are very friendly. Besides the food the entertainment there is great too. Friday and Saturday nights they have a DJ (Perfect Mix) and on some weeknights they have a wonderful country singer who sounds alot like Kenny Chesney. If you like playing pool they offer that too. So before you read the negative reviews you should check it out you'll be surprised how wrong they were to give such a bad review.

Make the Carriage House a night out for just the two of you or the whole family. Chef John has moved on but the new Chef is just as creative and has a flare all his own which needs to be tried. The Carriage House appitizers are first rate and they have a great selection. The main dishes are both chock full of flavor and generous in portion. This is a great place for fresh fish, prime rib or first rate pasta dishes. Thursdays you can get any two dinners on the menu with the exception of lobster/prime rib for only $20.00.They also have a fully stocked bar and great deserts. A nice place to have a reception. We recently held our son's rehersal dinner at Lilly's - sight unseen. We could not have been more happy! The food was very good, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was most cordial. Several of the out of town guests had lunch at Lilly's the next day and were likewise impressed. We would not hesitate to recommend Lilly's.

Don't let the exterior fool you - Eight Dragons serves up great Chinese food. The meat in the steak and chicken dishes is exceptionally tender, and the fried options are crisp and light. Vegetarian options are always fresh and appetizing - vegetables are crisp-tender, never overdone. The open kitchen adds appeal & watching the steam rise is part of the package. Portions are huge - my family of four eats well on two specials (under $15), and we usually have leftovers. The only caveat - if you opt to eat in the small dining area, bring a jacket. It's always freezing!

You are able to sit and enjoy a quiet conversation with a friend and at the same time there are state of the art televisions for those who choose to watch a game while out.
