Need help getting from Maryland to New York City for a day trip?
    Question:
I'm visiting family in Crownsville, Md and trying to find a tour bus from Maryland to the main attactions in New York City. Most people said NOT to drive and to take a tour bus or the subway/metro bus. We have three kids (age 7 to 13) along with us. Any advice would help.

    Answer:
My friend, my advice to this situation is taking Amtrak's Norhteast Regional Service to New York Penn Station. The trip from Baltimore to NYC will take about three hours, but the best thing about it, kids ages 2 to 15 ride for half fare. If Amtrak is to expensive, then there are several bus lines that go from Baltimore to New York City. However, the trip will take about 3 and half hours to 4 hours to complete. Both Megabus and Peter Pan Bus Lines, as well as Greyhound, provide service between Baltimore and NYC. I hope this information is very helpful. Good luck Native New Yorker
