Sakura is fairly near our home, and a favorite for when we want a fun meal with generally-consistently good food. Yes, it has gotten a little pricier in recent times, like many places. There have been occasions when the quality of the food varied, but we still have this place on our approved list. There are several of these Hibachi style restaurants around now -- all ok -- but I like Sakura the best.

Went here day after Thanksgiving 2008. Overpriced and under-served. Ordered the rib combo with pulled pork. Ribs were dry and pulled pork was salty. Service is so slow you could just scream! I'll be eating at Famous Dave's when I'm in the area.

Poorly managed. Service is really touch-and-go. I've had awful servers and amazing ones, here. The food is what you would get at any Olive Garden - no surprises. There's usually a wait here for dinner, I've gone on Monday and Tuesday nights and waited for half an hour or so. Husband experienced a very messy and disgusting bathroom one night.

Chili's has great food and prices. We love to grab a quick lunch or a nice relaxing dinner here. Try the crab meat quesadas, a nice blend of local chespeake fare and tex-mex. I love the chicken tacos and any of the chicken pitas. Chili's is awesome and won't disappoint!

I love Applebee's, just not the one in Bowie. The service has been consistently dreadful service. It's worth the drive to Annapolis or Waugh Chapel because they won't disappoint in any regard!

Love the beer! The booths afford a lot of privacy, and the dining area is usually a good place to talk with friends. Their crab pretzel appetizer is especially good, although a bit expensive. Their sandwiches are tasty and their homemade chips are amazing! Dessert can be expensive, but is also very good. Have never had bad service, or a wait to be seated.

Love is a rip off.My cousin recently reserved a table for a family members birthday and it was truly an experience.The club has a nice decor but they definitely are overpriced and unorganized.We arrived and had to sit downstairs until they decided where they wanted to sit us.Then after there intial decision we were shuffled around two additional times.The package she paid for was titled bottle service.Everything on the list was 100 and up with our 200 bar tab.We asked if we cold substitute the wine and champagne for individual cocktails from the bar and was told no.This is when we decided on Moet White star and White Zinfandel. The Zinfandel was Shutter Homes.The cheapest you can by from the store for 20 dollars max.When we finally settled in our location for the night the dance area was extremely over occupied.The was another side not being used and never opened.Our area was close to the bar and stayed with unwanted visitors.Before going to Love for a special event,shop around.

Man, these guys know how to party. They know when to doze but never close good thing the shuttle was always close by. Its really a big cornerstone of the economic revitilization of laurel. What they've done with the place since Vic Willman was there is incredible. I'll be there for many roll calls with The Crew.

My wife and I have been to Shooters on several occasions recently and have adopted it as our local hangout. The prices are fair, the food is excellent (fairly priced and generous servings); and, the bartender, whether it is Rose or Scott (the owners), are pleasant and offer friendly conversation. No negative comments. Just wish they opened earlier. Hopefully, a couple more good reviews will fix this problems. I may add to this review as time goes by. But for now, we could not be more satisfied with what Shooters has to offer.

My wife and I decided to try the Banana Cafe for dinner, and I really regret that decision. To start with some positive comments, our ceviche appetizer was big, inexpensive, and good (I would recommend it). Also both our entrees had giant portions and were reasonably low priced. The quality of the entrees however was horrible. My entree was from the Cuban section of the menu, consisting of a plate of roasted pork and yucca. The giant mass of pork looked like it had been sitting around for a long time such and it had a glossy hue. I ate about half of it before the thought of its appearance, texture, and taste nauseated me to the point of having to stop. My wife ordered the 'cuban pizza' and it was ladened in grease, sweating cheese, and bananas.. It was equally traumatizing. I also regretfully ordered a second house margarita which was sweeter than the first one which was too sweet and without kick. $60 later and after losing an hour of our lives, we started trying to forget about the experience, but I felt compelled a day later to try and warn others. P.S. I think the mexican entrees might be a safer bet if you decide to try this place.

Ordered the "All American" feast and all the food was very good. The sauces are amazing and I was finding it hard to decide between the Texas Pit and Devil's Spit. My wife liked the Sweet and Zesty. The server (I believe the name is Zena), was very prompt and friendly and made the whole experience pleasant. One complaint was the chicken which could have been more moist. I'd say best chain BBQ I've ever eaten.
