I have come to his restaurant several times once on a date and another time with family. Every time the food has been excellent the staff is authentic Irish just like the food every time the waiter has been attentive and very polite. A great place if you want real Irish cuisine.

Last night we had our company meeting and I decided to take my employees to the Brasserie Monte Carlo in Bethesda MD. The restaurant is in the heart of downtown Bethesda. Its a small and cozy restaurant. The decor inside is outstanding using beautiful colors like burgundy and royal blue. We were immediately greeted by a beautiful waitress and were seated. The wine selection was very good with a wide range of prices. The waitress recommended a very nice wine. The food was excellent. I ordered a rack of lamb that was cooked to perfection. It came with sauteed spinach and potato. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back in the near future.

I went with my fianc?? on the Eve of the New Year and had a great time. The atmosphere was jovial of course and the crowd was dynamic. People seemed to be dressed anywhere from casual to nice suit and tie. The service was good and the food was ok to slightly above average for a restaurant of its class. The wine selection was as expected which is to say it was extraordinary. My parents do not get out that often and really enjoyed the experience. We enjoyed a 5 course meal with a selected wine for each course. The question I asked myself at the end was it worth the $500 + tip...I would emphatically say YES. The reason for 4/5 is I have had better experiences in similar bistros/restaurants.

Im picky when it comes to good food...and their food isnt anything less than awesome. Id recommend it to anyone. And there coleslaw isnt like your regular coleslaw. Its great too. The waiter was nice but a little snooty so I give the place a 4 b/c of that.

This food is the best. They have everything you could imagine exotic foods nothing like a buffet AT ALL. Theres spices to make sauces and eggs everything! I love it i go all of the time. The pricing isnt that bad so you can go frequently. Its like making your own dish only you dont have to cook!

I thought the prices were a little high when first looking at the menu but after having the food it is completely worth it. I had the appetizer platter mango and sweet lassis naan and chicken tikka massala. Everything was delicious. The ambiance was great too. There was background music that was actually at a pleasant volume where you could hear the person across the table but it still filled in the background chatter. The chicken was tender the naan was soft the samosa was very rich and the lassis were excellently flavored and just the right sweetness. Highly recommended.

This is one of the few authentic Japanese restaurants in DC area. Price is very reasonable. I usually get some Japanese BBQ and sushi. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The California Tortilla serves a lot of food. The hummus us good. The Tai sandwich is good. It has bread and lots of vegetables and Tai flavored chicken. It is not too spicy. They have lots of bottles of sauces.

Great Menu. Eating my superb lunch and here comes Chef Kwok. Amazing fellow. The food is superb. My brother lives in Frederick MD and when the spirit moves him he calls me and we head for Bethesda at Shanghai Village and then after he eats he buys more and takes home as well. I just love their appetizer coated chicken bits. Delicious....This is the best of the best.

Dining at Le Vieux Logis is a pleasure. The charming decor enhances the sense of having traveled to France (especially rather than to Bethesda) for fine dining and attentive service. The dining experience is enhanced by the personable staff and the dedicated on-site owner. All at Le Vieux Logis is tres bien; the ageless charm of France and gracious dining provide a memorable experience to be savored. And on occasion there is also music to feed ones soul when talented accordionist and violinist (Manny and Kathy) play. Merci Le Vieux Logis!

The food was great! I recommend the Roti Canai Kang Kung Belacan and the Hainanese Chicken. The service was great as well. The ambiance is not the same as the DC location but it was still good. Id recommend this place for people with kids on a budget or just craving Malaysian food. Consistently good.

The food here is great and very fresh. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly. I tried the eggplant which I really liked - It was tender but not fried or swimming in oil as is often the case. The tomato sauce was fresh like in Italy not blended and cooked like the canned stuff. The rest of my family all enjoyed their meals as well. Looking forward to going back! With all the chain restaurants in MD it is really great to have an authentic family-run Italian restaurant in the area.

Bethesda is full of overly fancified restaurants. I can only guess that the real estate prices in the area weed out some of the less expensive restaurants; however this place is a nice find. The menu is full of great Thai comfort foods for a very reasonable price. Plus the service is friendly and timely. As a result this is one of my regular spots.

The best Mexican restaurant! I have eaten at many many Mexican restaurants and this is by far the best! The chips are salsa are so fresh! The fajitas are my favorite and they dont serve refried beans but instead they serve this bean soup that is out of this world!!! Try it youll LOVE it!!!

This cozy restaurant is all thats left of what was once a much larger place. The service was good but could have been more attentive. Our group had both Wonton and Hot & Sour soup; both were very good. We had three entrees: Hunan chicken Szechuan Beef and Curry Chicken. All would be rated very good. These items were from the Lunch Combination section. Id like to return and try some of the items in the Chiefs specialties section. My overall inpression of this restaurant based only on one visit is that the service is at least good and the food is very good. The best in Bethesda? Well Im not sure about that. P.S. The young Chinese boy who comes to your table to ask if everything is all right and to bring you your leftover food is a nice touch; it gives the whole place a family friendly atmosphere.

I met my two best friends there for dinner and drinks. The wait staff was exceptional. They were attentive and didnt get exasperated when we werent sure what to order the first three times they came around. The food was amazing. I had the Chicken Cardinale which is a chicken penne pasta dish with a vodka cream sauce and sun-dried tomatoes. I loved the ambiance. Very rustic warm and tuscanish (yes I made up a word). I would definitely go there again. Great for any type of engagement and group.
