City DescriptionBienville is a village in Bienville Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 262 at the 2000 census.
Bienville is located at 32°21′9″N 92°58′37″W / 32.3525, -92.97694 (32.352635, -92.976816).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 28.6 km² (11.0 mi²). 28.6 km² (11.0 mi²) of it is land and 0.09% is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 262 people, 115 households, and 70 families residing in the village. The population density was 9.2/km² (23.8/mi²). There were 158 housing units at an average density of 5.5/km² (14.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the village was 56.49% White, 43.13% African American, and 0.38% from two or more races.
There were 115 households out of which 24.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 44.3% were married couples living together, 11.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 38.3% were non-families. 38.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 21.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.28 and the average family size was 2.97.
