- Christmas is a Time for Giving. Love, Peace, Heart!
I honestly LOVE giving more than recieving. I always have. I love being able to give. The past few years I have not been able to give as much since I injured my neck and lower back as a paramedic. I always had give presents to needy. Always tried to help anyone in need. I am finally to where I come do some to help at the last minute and couldn't find anywhere to give in person. So I am going make donations to a few places. To me It is soooooo rewarding to give. I can't explain how it makes me feel. I always like to do it anonymously to. I never want any type of Glory for it. It is just a great feeling to be able to help someone. Just like when I was a Paramedic(which I MISS MORE THAN anyone knows!!!) I loved helping people, saving people. This season is not about what anyone can get. It is about giving back. (to me) It is about Jesus. I am not a religious fanatic. I am just not into the retail commercial stuff. Merry Christmas to all of Indiana and Kentucky! I have always said DO NOT get me anything GIVE to someone who needs it. EVEN when I lost my home to a House fire last year. I was the same way. I didn't need anything I wanted to help people that are worse than me. This may sound BLOATED. But this is honestly from the bottom of my heart!!! Posted by Editor Southern Belle
- Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife - Bass Fishing in the Snow is Highly Productive
We have experiences in the outdoors that can be transcendent, although the conditions are rough. Main lake points from Beaver Creek down to the dam are great places to try on a snowy December day on Lake Cumberland, while the Spruce Creek area is tops for Laurel River Lake. Try main lake points and cuts near Phillips Bend in the mouth of Wolf River on Dale Hollow Lake. You'll be fishing the same waters that produced David Hayes' 11-pound, 15-ounce world record smallmouth bass in 1955. Those cuts and points closest to the old Wolf River channel are best.
