The population was 383 at the 2000 census Keeneland was dissolved on January 1, 2001 and annexed by the neighboring City of Lyndon. Keeneland is now a neighborhood of the City of Lyndon, Kentucky and also a part of Greater Louisville.
Keeneland is located at 38°16′34″N 85°33′59″W / 38.27611, -85.56639 (38.276020, -85.566448).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.1 square miles (0.2 km²), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 383 people, 156 households, and 104 families residing in the city. The population density was 4,995.3 people per square mile (1,848.5/km²). There were 157 housing units at an average density of 2,047.7/sq mi (757.7/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 95.56% White, 1.83% African American, 0.26% Asian, 0.52% from other races, and 1.83% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.57% of the population.
