Like the atmosphere and food. We did not have the best waiter - expected a better level of service but seemed the others were more engaging with their tables. Hope it was just that one waiter one that one day! Will try it again. Food was a refreshing change of the ordinary. Get the Guacamole & Salsa if it is available - best ever had!

The food was definitely very good, and filling. One thing to be aware of though, is that it is really great if you show up in even numbers!- there were three of us eating and it turned out nicely, but initially we were scratching our heads about how to order. There is a special called "the big night out" which is the four courses at one price (cheese fondu, salad, entree, and chocolate fondu). Since there were three of us, we shared a large cheese fondu, got one entree, and all got salads. Then shared a dessert fondu. It filled us up, but it was quite pricey (approx $80)....It is definitely worth a try!

I will agree with other reviews that Shalimar's has an excellent lunch buffet, HOWEVER, I will NEVER order from here again. My co-worker's and I ordered take-out lunches and were dismayed at the portions. A $13.00 'lamb kebob' dinner was ordered, and when received was in a box usually reserved for a small side salad. I feel robbed as well. Robbed of expectations of a good lunch, with something different than the norm around town (hence paying extra for lunch here). I would have been much happier going to...well... anywhere.

I traveled in Korea recently and have had plenty of opportunities to sample authentic Korean cuisine. Plus I am friends with many Koreans in Louisville and have eaten plenty of Korean food prepared in their kitchens. So I can with some certainty that Lee's is an excellent place to find authentic recipes. Although the atmosphere of Lee's is a bit run-down and needs updating, I cannot say enough good things about the quality of food there. It's fresh, hot, nutritious, and delights the eye. Be sure to order the Stone Bibam Bop for a real treat. You won't find that dish anywhere else in town!

Wow since the new owner has taken over, new seasonal menu's, new plates and presentation. They even redecorated the place. This is an excelent place for a wonderful Italian dining experience. Service is great, food is great, and atmosphere makes for a wonderful evening.

I have eaten here literally 3 times a week for over 6 months. I loved this place, but they changed their rice and now it is AWFUL!!!!!! Change your sushi rice back or face the dire consequences of losing my patronage.

found this place out of luck before it got HUGE. what a prize. being raised around latin cuisine, i was skeptical. but everything i have had thus far has been fantastic! love the steak chimichurri and the garlic shrimp. delicious everytime.
