George Allen and Minority Outreach...perfect together? Question: Washington Post, Tuesday, August 15, 2006
"At a campaign rally in southwest Virginia on Friday, Allen repeatedly called a volunteer for Democrat James Webb "macaca." During the speech in Breaks, near the Kentucky border, Allen began by saying that he was "going to run this campaign on positive, constructive ideas" and then pointed at S.R. Sidarth in the crowd.
"This fellow here, over here with the yellow shirt, macaca, or whatever his name is. He's with my opponent. He's following us around everywhere. And it's just great," Allen said, as his supporters began to laugh. After saying that Webb was raising money in California with a "bunch of Hollywood movie moguls," Allen said, "Let's give a welcome to macaca, here. Welcome to America and the real world of Virginia." Allen then began talking about the "war on terror."
Depending on how it is spelled, the word macaca could mean either a monkey that inhabits the Eastern Hemisphere or a town in South Africa. In some European cultures, macaca is also considered a racial slur against African immigrants, according to several Web sites that track ethnic slurs."

Why can't Marco Allen Chapman die if that's what he really wants to do? Question: Marco Allen Chapman is from Louisville KY, being charged with brutally killing two children, left their sister and mother for dead. He has admitted to the killings, waived a trial and sentencing by a jury and then is begging to be sentenced to death. His own lawyers say Chapman is trying to use the legal system to committ 'suicide by court'. He has also plead guilty to stabbing a 10-year old, who survived, then raping and trying to kill their mother.
Professors who teach criminal law have found Chapman's decision as potential implications for future defendants disturbing.
Kentucky Supreme Court has been set to hear arguments on the legality of Chapman's request. The judge has granted Chapman his request and be sentenced to death.
A criminal law professor, in Mississippi, said "permitting defendants to make decisions which increase the risk of wrongful convicitons is a bad policy".
The guy admitted to everything, is begging to die - so why are his motives being questioned?
Answer:
The reason for the delay is that his request to die without filing appeals is without precedent in the state of Kentucky - there's no prior case law regarding the situation. So the state supreme court will hear the prosecution and Chapman's court-appointed lawyers arguments and will make a decision and set a precedent which will be the established case law regarding these types of situations in the future.

Should Marco Allen Chapman's request to be executed granted? His lawyers say he is not competent.? Question: CHAPMAN, MARCO ALLEN, DOB 9-4-71, was convicted of murder, 2 counts; attempted murder, 2 counts; rape I; burglary I; robbery I and PFO II. He was formally sentenced on 12-14-2004 to death. In the early morning of August 23, 2002, Marco Chapman murdered a 7-year old girl and a 6-year old boy in their home in Warsaw, Kentucky (Gallatin County). Both the children's throats had been slit and they had multiple lacerations and stab wounds on their bodies. Their 10-year old sister played dead after being stabbed several times. The children's mother's hands were bound with duct tape and she was tied to a bed frame. She was raped and stabbed in the chest with a knife that broke off in her chest. She was later stabbed with a larger knife and left for dead. After stabbing the victims, Chapman burglarized the home and left the scene. He was arrested later the same day by state police in West Virginia.
Answer:
Yes, if that's what he wants then he should get his wish. I'd have no problem with them doing the execution tonight.

Bessie Shoemaker? Born in Kentucky, died in Indiana? Question: I'm not sure, but I think she died before 1920. She was married to a man named William Wright. Her dad's name was Allen Shoemaker. I want to know the dates of her birth and death. I have a couple of docimuntes that has the spelling of her last name different. Some say Shoemaker, others say Shuemaker. I think Shoemaker is right. I find the death date of her dad. The news paper spelled it Shoemaker. It said he had kids, but did not give there names.
Answer:
Angel, my sign in got fixed when I rebooted.
I love seeing that you are making progress. If you have a document showing Bessie verified as married to William Wright, you probably have got it. Just don't get discouraged.. some of it will NOT be online, and will take patience.
I looked at the genweb page for the county in Indiana, and see that they don't have very much posted. Thus, if you can, I think a trip there (if you can) will really pay off.

Which NCAA coach changed the face of sports more than anyone in history? Question: Don Haskins (Texas Western) starting 5 black players against an all white Kentucky did more for sports history than any other event. Without this occurance, there would be no MJ, Shaq, Kobe, Dr J, Kareem, Wilt, Patrick, or anyone else that isn't white. There would also be no Emmitt Smith, Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, Randall Cunningham, Jerry Rice, Michael Irvin, Marcus Allen, Hershel Walker, Larry Allen, etc. Nor would there be Barry Bonds, Hank Arron, Tiger Woods, and on and on and on...
Answer:
i dont buy that so much, if those guys really are the best in their sport, they would have surfaced eventually. there have been many ncaa coaches who were very influential: coaches like bobby bowden and joe paterno in current college football just to name a few have changed through so much, they have seen recruiting become a huge event, they have seen a change to the method of giving a championship, and so on, and they have still been successful. there are so many coaches at the college level, all doing his/her part to mold and shape the life of a young athlete.

ALL OF THOSE HISTORICALLY BLACK COLLEGES OFFER MINORITY SCHOLARSHIPS FOR WHITES
http://people.bu.edu/colrepub/Caucasian%20Achievement%20a nd%20Recognition%20Scholarship.html
SO WHY ARE BE MAD?
MINORITY SCHOLARSHIPS SIMPLY ASSIST IN DIVERSIFYING COLLEGES
I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST WHITE SCHOLARSHIPS, AS A MATTER OF FACT I HAVE RAN ACROSS A LOT. THEY ARE SIMPLY MORE SPECIFIC. LIKE A GERMAN SCHOLARSHIP, ITALIAN ETC. YOU HAVE TO KNOW WHAT COUNTRY UR ANCESTORS COME FROM.
ALSO, PPL PINPOINT MINORITY SCHOLARSHIPS BASED ON RACE, BUT THEY DON'T CONSIDER ALL THE OTHER SCHOLARSHIPS THAT ARE FOR MINORITIES, LIKE AGE, GENDER, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, DISABILITIES ETC.
ALSO, I'M BLACK, AND #2 IN MY CLASS AND I'M NOT GOING TO COLLEGE WITH SCHOLARSHIPS. I'M GETTING GRANTS BECAUSE I'M POOR. THOSE GRANTS ARE OPEN TO ANYONE IF THEY APPLY, THEY DON'T EVEN ASK FOR UR RACE. ((SEE NOT EVERYONE PROFITS FROM MINORITY SCHOLARSHIPS))
GOOD LUCK WITH COLLEGE HOPE U FIND SOMETHING U LIKE
A LOT OF THOSE COLLEGES OFFER **FULL RIDES** AS SCHOLARSHIPS
Answer:
wow! thanks! how much do you get?
god bless.

Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!? Question: I am trying to find information on the birth on my grandpa. I need the names of his parents. His name is Kenneth Wright. His Brothers name was Lowe Wright. He lived with his grandparents. There names where Allen and Mary Shoemaker. I think that Mary was grandpa's Step grandmother. They lived in Wayne township in Hamilton County Indiana. For some reason I cant find his parents names.
According to the 1920 United States Federal Census, his dad was born in Indiana. His mom was born in Kentucky.
It is rumored that his mom died when grandpa was very young.
I believe grandpa was born in Indiana. But it is possable he was born in Kentucky. I don't know his birth place. But I think he was born in November, 1915. I know he died April 9th, 2002. His death information had nothing about his parents. Nor did any other information I looked at. No one I know has any ideal what his parents names where.
I was told he also had two other siblings. One brother named Fred.and the other is a sister, I don't know her name. They did not live with my grandpa. I think they may have been half siblings.
Answer:
Well Social security gives his birth as 22 Nov 1915 and his death as 9 Apr 2002
I also noticed that on the 1920 federal census in the same township in wayne,Hamilton,Indiana he is living with his granparents, but also there is a Albert Wright living in the same town age 38 years its possible this might be a uncle to Kenneth Wright, I think you should also search for the death certificate of his brother Lowe Wright, hopefully it may put some light on Kenneth and Lowe's parents.
also I would follow up on Wendy C. advice on the marriage records and records in the county courthouse clerk's office in Hamilton Co,Indiana
also Allen Shoemaker on the 1900 census in Hamilton Co,Indiana is married to a Maud born april 1868
on the 1920 census he is married to a Mary born C. 1862

Sam H wassup, Allen and Vick went to different high schools. They are from the same hometown Newport News but Allen went to school in Hampton close by. Vick grew up going to see him play and got his style from Iverson. He said it himself.
Did anyone else see him returining kicks?
He holds the Virginia record for interceptions in a game with 7. Defensive back?
Answer:
Who are these people saying Iverson is small? Yeah he's small when you line him up next to Shaq and the other 6'10" freaks in the NBA, but AI's six feet, just as tall as Marvin Harrison and about slightly less than average for an NFL wide receiver.
AI is one hell of an athlete, but I think basketball is his game. I'm sure he could have had a great college football career, just like Ronald Curry, Charlie Ward, Woody Dantzler or Michael Vick, but he never would've done anything in the pros. He had great athletic ability but not much of the other things that make truly great football players.
By the way, Ohio State fans, noticing any similarities here between this kid and your precious Terrelle Pryor?
