This is a great place to eat. The food is usually great. The service is always quick and friendly. The ambiance has the feel of a "typical" family run Mexican restaurant. By far, the value is amazing. We can always go there knowing we will be able to skimp by on a fast food budget, and walk away full with great tasting food in our bellies. This location is in the old Christopher's Restaurant... so if you wonder why a fireplace is halfway up the wall, there used to be an elevated landing there with a couple tables/booths. Don't be fooled by the price of some things... even the cheaper Chicken Taco Salad is quite large and fills my wife up. Their chimichanga's are great... as are their enchiladas, tamales, and my fav chorizo con hueves (mex sausage and eggs). Don't miss this location just because it's another window front in the Walmart/Alexandria Green strip mall... you'll walk away fuller in the stomach and the wallet.

Yuk!!!!!! get up to date. Service at this location is sub-standard, I want to sit down and be waited on when I go out to eat, Portion size too small for my liking.Have tried this restauramt two times but think I'll go down the street to Skyline next time the chili bug bites. This is just one mans opinion. The rest of you loosers can continue to eat here.

The subway I go to in alexandria ky is a good subway. They make the sandwich the way you want it. But, one worker there doesn't change her gloves after she handles money. I always hope she isn't working when I go in there.

let's start with the ambiance... the location used to be Cobblestone restaurant when i was a kid, and still looks like a medieval castle... kinda neat to see, but odd knowing that you will soon be eating Thai. next, the service... it was quite slow both times i tried this place. it's one thing to be like that when you are slammed... but both times there were only 2 other people. as for the food the Thai is bland (even when you ask for spicy... btw, they don't used the standard 1-10 that most Thai places use). The Chinese that they serve is so-so. As for value, when you consider all the other things I take issue with, I consider the value level low. For the price you pay, you don't get anything extra (egg roll, soup, etc). I will add two things.... 1) the Chicken Phad Thai "looked" great last time I went... the presentation was great. and 2) I haven't had their buffet yet, and I'm told it's pretty good. I admit, I'm a Thai junkie... I will probably give this place one more try (probably the buffet). I've had Arloi Dei downtown, Lemon Grass by Rookwood, and my current fav Thai Taste on Crookshank. All of which have superb Thai food in comparison to Siam Orchid. It is my greatest hope that they will improve their food and service, and the rest will fall in line. (It's also my greatest hope because they are 5 minutes from my house!)

The manager at Burger King is extremely friendly and helpful; he makes you feel like you are the only customer there. And check out the great smile on very sweet and helpful Carolyn........ For a quick burger and drink or to let the granddaughter unwind in the play area, it's Burger King for us, not the yellow place down the road. Sure, it's a burger joint, but those burgers are good, thick and juicy!
