City DescriptionPlevna is a city in Reno County, Kansas, United States. The population was 99 at the 2000 census.
Plevna is located at 37°58′20″N 98°18′34″W / 37.97222, -98.30944 (37.972327, -98.309474).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.2 square miles (0.6 km²), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 99 people, 46 households, and 28 families residing in the city. The population density was 425.2 people per square mile (166.2/km²). There were 52 housing units at an average density of 223.3/sq mi (87.3/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 96.97% White, and 3.03% from two or more races.
There were 46 households out of which 23.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.0% were married couples living together, 2.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 39.1% were non-families. 37.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 19.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.15 and the average family size was 2.75.
