City DescriptionMildred is a city in Allen County, Kansas, United States. The population was 36 at the 2000 census.
Mildred is located at 38°1′22″N 95°10′25″W / 38.02278, -95.17361 (38.022777, -95.173512).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.2 square miles (0.6 km²), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 36 people, 19 households, and 9 families residing in the city. The population density was 151.7 people per square mile (57.9/km²). There were 24 housing units at an average density of 101.1/sq mi (38.6/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 94.44% White, and 5.56% from two or more races.
There were 19 households out of which 21.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 26.3% were married couples living together, 10.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 52.6% were non-families. 52.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 15.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 1.89 and the average family size was 2.89.
