City DescriptionLeonardville is a city in Riley County, Kansas, United States. The population was 398 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Manhattan, Kansas Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Leonardville is located at 39°21′48″N 96°51′34″W / 39.36333, -96.85944 (39.363273, -96.859571).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.3 square miles (0.7 km²), of which, 0.3 square miles (0.7 km²) of it is land and 3.85% is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 398 people, 167 households, and 114 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,545.7 people per square mile (591.0/km²). There were 198 housing units at an average density of 769.0/sq mi (294.0/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 98.74% White, 0.25% Native American, 0.50% Asian, and 0.50% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.50% of the population.
