I used to love this restaurant until I saw one of the 30 year old waiters french kissing a 16 year old girl right in front of all the customers on the dining room floor. After speaking with the adult caretaker of this girl I found out that this waiter did not know this girl other than the flirting he had done that night. However, regardless of the length of time he might have known her the obvious age differences and the public display make this extremely unappropriate behavior for an employee. This one act has soured my taste of El Pueblito forever. Who wants to see the person delivering their food engaged in such an act with a minor. It makes you wander what else is going on there, especially in the kitchen, out of the public view.

It's The Red Peepper now and the food is excellent. I think you should pay for chips and sauce if your fajita is only 7 bucks. Try getting a fajita for 7 bucks at El Pueblito!

Its really good food. Ate Buffet. Loved their Brocoli Beef and this other dish that had chicken and large pieces of green onion and black pepper. No tags on the buffet to know what dishes there were but food was very flavorful and the vegetables were just right not soggy and not undercooked. Cashew chicken was good only downfall no fresh nuts to give it that special crunch. One of the best egg drop soups Ive ever had.

Sonic in Chanute charge for everything even the straws for drinking a soda and if you need water they charge for it and I don't know any other drive through that does.
