I went to Tillies for a Holiday Open House. Santa was there, and kids were enjoying visiting with him. While browsing, a smiling employee brought me a long stemmed rose, which lasted a long time! I also received a goodie bag with an Angel ornament and other nice items. Mostly, the employees were definitely enjoying the day. I can see why Tillie's is a "go to" place for gifts and flowers. Defazios has always been a favorite. Since Angelo's closed, it's the only place to get an Italian salad with pickeled eggplant. We love to go for a lunch lasagna and salad. I miss Angelo's...it was just a few blocks from us. We gladly make the trip to Defazios. Their pizza can't be beat! If only...if only it was closer...(me hoping that is what is going to the old building...hint hint!)
