Wow. Was going thru town on business when my wife and I stopped in Emerson Biggin's. Was very impressed. It had the look of a national chain, but understand it is locally owned. The server was excellent, but the most impressive thing was their food. Was expecting bar food, but my burger was the best I have ever had (and I travel alot). I consider myself a burger guru, and this was definitely the best. My wife had the cajun chicken salad and said it was also very good. That night we stayed longer to watch some pre-season football. The number and quality of TVs was amazing. Hope they bring their concept to Texas soon.

The food is affordable and tasty. The atmosphere is very upbeat and fun. It is a place I take people who aren't famliar with Wichita just to eat lunch and hang out. We can shoot pool while we are waiting for our food or watch the games on the big screens.

I've been searching for a place like this for years! This is truly the definition of a hidden gem. I grew up going to "Supper Clubs" in Wisconsin with my parents. The art of a true supper club is something that I thought had been lost in years gone by. A classy lounge with friendly bar-tenders, servers and classic drinks. Followed by a great dinner of classic American fare - steaks, chicken, seafood even prime rib (which I had, and was great!!! hardly any fat and very juicy - best cut I've had in years & cooked perfectly). Followed up by a trip to the lounge for an after dinner drink. If you appreciate the atmosphere of days gone by - (Not implying this place looks run down or old - it doesn't - it looks in its prime but has the feel of a classic 1970's & 80's supper club) honest service and great food - you owe it to yourself to make a trip to Tommy's. Granted I've only been there once now (about an hour ago), I plan on going back very soon. I honestly felt like I had gone back in time. Tommy's offers a truly unique and classic experience, lost amongst the chains and more recent establishments of the area. Tony Vogds

I really like this place. From the decor to the food to the beer, it is top notch. Good experience everytime I've went in so far. Good portions and affordable prices. My only complaint would be that I wish they had more selections for sides when you order a black and blue burger, or any other burger for that matter.

Having been given an Applebees giftcard, my husband and I decided to use it last night. We were suprised that it wasn't very busy at 6:30 on a Friday night. We were told our wait would be five minutes and yet we sat for longer as we watched others come in after us and be seated. When my husband asked the hostess she acted suprised; they had forgotten us. They messed up our appetizer order and my husband had to ask the waitress about his glass of wine that he was told would be "right out" after it never came. It didn't get better with the food. My entre which was the fiesta lime chicken was lukewarm with a side of rice that was sticky and mushy and my husbands baked potato was partially uncooked. We never did get the salt and pepper shakers that were missing and it's a good thing we were not dying of thirst because nobody came around to refill our water glasses. We debated about ordering a dessert as we still had money left on our giftcard but decided we did not want to wait around any longer for what would most likely be another disappointment. Not only was this dining experience a waste of money (thank goodness we had the giftcard and it was not our money) but it was also a waste of time.

A bit of a sandwich enthusiast, I have been on a quest for the perfect club ... Although not quite "perfect", Old Chicago's variation is certainly one of the best. The pasta is top notch, the pizza's superb. This sports bar/resteraunt is perfect for dining or just catching your favorite team get pounded mercilessly (if your a Chief's fan that is ...) If you stop by the north west location, tell "Special J" that Brian sent ya ... :)

This is a uniue little bar with an aviation theme. It is a favorite watering hole for local pilots both civilian and retired military as well as land lubbers. Its small and cozy and sometimes crowded. Walls are lined with aviation memorabilia and seating is on bar stools or airline seats. They usually have good (free) hors d'overes. This bar is co-located with Savutes Italian Ristorante, a local favorite with great steaks, so drop in, have a couple of drinks, then go next door. Enjoy!

I wish I could rate the merits of the resturant on its own, but when it's so comparable to Applebees, how can you not. The food is good, the service was about the same, but where they falter is on price. When I can go to the aforementioned place down the street and spend five dollars less on the same food, staff, and atmosphere, why wouldn't you? Every once in a while I return only to remember once I've paid $50 for two why it is I go else where.
