City DescriptionArlington is a city in Reno County, Kansas, United States. The population was 459 at the 2000 census.
Arlington is located at 37°53′47″N, 98°10′46″W (37.896363, -98.179313).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.2 square miles (3.1 km²), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 459 people, 202 households, and 136 families residing in the city. The population density was 383.1 people per square mile (147.7/km²). There were 218 housing units at an average density of 182.0/sq mi (70.1/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 97.60% White, 0.22% African American, 0.22% Native American, 0.44% from other races, and 1.53% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.31% of the population.
There were 202 households out of which 29.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.4% were married couples living together, 6.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.2% were non-families. 30.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 18.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.27 and the average family size was 2.82.

And I'm not sure about you, but I was like "It's only 10 million" and it didn't seem like a lot because China has 1.3 billion people.

Not only social security, but schools and health care services are also being used by illegal aliens. They have no right to school or medical care if they are here illegally. They are breaking the law and they should be put in jail and then sent back to Mexico. Why should people who break the law be given any kind of reward or should be allowed to use any government benefits. I see all these rallies on t.v and they are all saying how they are Americans, but they are not Americans at all, they are law breakers and should pay like anyone else. I'm sorry that Mexico is so messed up, but it is not the job of the United states to help you out. I'm sure that if Americans started to cross into Mexico in huge numbers, the government of Mexico would be up in arms and the boarder would look more like a war zone. Mexico wants illegals here because it helps out Mexico, they don't put any money back into the u.s.a, they send it back home. And people also say how they are only taking jobs that Americans won't do, that's a bunch of crap, because they take good jobs from Americans and they drive our wages way down, why pay me 15 dollars an hour when they can pay an illegal 8 dollars to do the same job. Its wrong and has to stop.

Best amusement/waterpark 4-8 hours from oklahoma?

Just wondering which them park, water park would be best. Dont mind driving 4-8 hours. I have a 13 year old daughter that is into amusement parks but more into water parks, any suggestions? Have been looking at Six Flags/Hurrican Harbor in Arlington and Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun in Kansas City. Any opinions?

Should the Houston Astros and the Chicago Cubs had to play in Milwaukee? Why or why not?

Due to Hurricane Ike having an impact on Houston, Texas and the Metropolitan Houston area, the Houston Astros had to play two of their three games against the Chicago Cubs at Miller Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Even though the Astros had the Home Field Advantage, the Astros had to play in front of a crowd that was mainly all Cubs fans.
Today, I was reading on Yahoo! Sports that the Astros are not happy with the fact that they had to play in Milwaukee in front of a Chicago Cubs crowd. According to M.L.B. Commissioner Bud Selig, he says that he could not find another stadium to host the games between the Cubs and Astros and that Milwaukee was the only place to have the games.
In your view, should the Houston Astros had played the Chicago Cubs in Milwaukee or do you believe this game could have been played somewhere else?

I believe that the games should have been played at the following venues;
1. At Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. They could have played the games in the afternoon before the Texas Rangers played in the evening.
2. At a AAA ballpark. Some of the AAA ballparks they could have played at includes;
A. Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas (AAA Affiliate of the Houston Astros)
B. Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Nebraska (AAA Affiliate of the Kansas City Royals)
c. Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missoui (Home of the Kansas City Royals)
I do not believe it was fair for the Houston Astros to have to play in Milwaukee when their opponet (the Chicago Cubs) played only two hours south of Milwaukee and Cubs fans have easier access to Milwaukee than Astros fan.

In the east it would be hard to say about Montreal (maybe getting back an "Expo" name?). Louisville would be cool (Call them the "Sluggers"). Personally I'd look at Memphis if any would be picked out of that line followed maybe by either Jacksonville or Charlotte.
In the west it would be interesting to see a team up in Calgary so that would be my first choice followed perhaps by San Antonio. I couldn't see Boise getting one, Omaha has enough trouble getting anyone to go to AAA ballgames while Wichita I'd think would be too close to KC.

maybe in twenty years they will add 2 more teams to the American league to make it a even 16 teams each but i would no hold my breath on that.
most likely cities to get a team would be either Charlotte or OKC out of the "east", but it would be cool if they added San Juan. For the west, which you have way better chance to add teams it would be Las Vegas, NO, Portland, San Antonio or SLC.
So out of my 8 cities I would say Charlotte or Las Vegas have the greatest chance of getting a team with San Antonio and SLC not to far behind.
