Kansas City Steaks, Omaha Steaks or Allen Brothers Steaks and then the red wine??? Question: I need to order some really good ribeyes but I've never ordered from any of these companies.... I also need a really good red wine to go with them but not too bold... any suggestions?
Answer:
I frequently purchase Omaha Steaks! Although they can be a bit spendy, but the Private Reserve steaks are so worth it! The rib eyes and the porterhouse steaks are moist and juicy, as well as all the other prime cuts. The bacon wrapped mignons are phenomenal. They come right to your door, frozen with dry ice in a spiffy reuseable styrofoam cooler! They're fully guaranteed too! They also carry thier own like of seasonings and sauces too-we love thier steak seasoning! They have a large selection of steaks and entrees to choose from like lasagna, pasta dishes, stuffed baked potatoes and seafood. I recommend the coconut shrimp with the apricot mango wasabi sauce (heavenly), and the 100 slices of fully cooked bacon. They often have great sales too. For instance, right now theyre having a $19.99 summer sale. As for the wine, Omaha Steaks also carries theyre own wine selections, and I recommend the Cabarnet, always red wine with beef. The web address is www.omahasteaks.com...happy shopping!

Should the Kansas city Chiefs tell Jared Allen to get Lost? Question: I think it is only a money thing for him. And he is always getting in trouble anyway.
Answer:
Actually, I agree with Jason Whitlock's article about this situation. He said that he thinks Peterson is playing this exactly as he should. Offer him a one year deal and make him prove he can keep his nose clean and continue to show improvement in his on the field performance. If he is successful at both next season, then sign him to a large contract extension. The bottom line is that Allen has a lot of growing up to do and he better do it quickly before he throws away his career, if not his life.

Where do you look for answers on an old photo found in the wall of a house? Question: J. Allen Ward, Salina, Kansas is stamped on the matte board. It is from around 1900.
Answer:
The info stamped on the matte is probably the photography studio.
The other answerers are correct, you would need to find the former owners of the house, and ask questions. You could probably find that out at your county recorder's office. Good luck. It would drive me crazy too.

Jared Allen To The Vikings? How Good Will That D-Line Be? Question: Jared Allen is visiting the Minnesota Vikings today...
Vikings are in desperate need of a DE and have lots of $ money $
Jared Allen wants out of Kansas City
Chiefs are looking to rebuild through the draft & are sick and tired of contract talks with Jared Allen
So I can see this trade happening very easily
Probably 1st and 3rd round picks would do... I would say a 1st and 2nd if he didn't have his history and the threat of him being suspended...
---
So ya... My question is
How good will the Vikings D-Line and Defense as a whole be if they get Jared Allen? along side of Kevin & Pat Williams (Two ProBowlers) and then Ray Edwards / Brian Robinson on the other side???
Answer:
Oh man, I would love if they could work out a deal for this. We have 2 third rounders anyways, and Jared Allen would have a bigger impact than a rookie DE. Besides, we may not even be able to take one of the more acclaimed DEs at #17.
How good would the line be? Arguably one of the best. Teams always double Kevin and Pat, so Allen would be able to focus more on the pass rush. Ray Edwards led our team in sacks last season, although that's because he was on juice. If he stays clean this season, meaning he's in more games, that defensive line will be awe-inspiring.
Get the deal done, Childress.

My friend said she would pay for half of my ticket because she knows i don't have much money at the moment. Which is going to make me feel bad if i say no so i am leaning on torward going to the Haunted House even if i get scared
Answer:
I would go no matter what because ive been there and it was great, i can't really remember which one i went to but i went to 2 of them around that area for like 40 bucks and they are old 4 or 5 story warehouses and its the best haunted houses ive been to, i remember there was just pure fog in one area where u couldn't see anything and all of a sudden a Mechanical thing that popped out and scared me, there were slides and everything just seems so real, like stuff from the movies, its good, you are definitely getting your 20 bucks worth, i would go to 2 of them if your gonna be down there but maybe u just want to spend 20, o if you go, go early, the lines get pretty long and then that is when all the christian peoples come out and tell you don't follow the devil and stuff, it was a good time for me, it should be the same for you, i went with like 3 other friends

Who said the famous quote:"It isn't necessary to have relatives in Kansas City in order to be Unhappy?" Question: a- Will Rogers b-Groucho Marx c- Whoopi Goldberg d- Woody Allen
Answer:
It's almost always quoted the way you wrote it, but interestingly, Groucho said it a bit differently, saying "to be unhappy" rather than "in order to be unhappy". His full sentence reads, "I only cite these annoyances to you to show that it isn't necessary to have relatives in Kansas City to be unhappy."
This was in a letter he wrote on Jan. 18, 1951. The letter appeared in his book "The Groucho Letters".

Haunted houses in Kansas City? Question: What are the best haunted houses in KC? I've been to the Edge and the Beast and Worlds of Fun, and WOF and the Beast weren't that scary and I wanted to try something new. Is the morgue or catacombs any good? or the chambers of edgar allen poe? or macabre cinema? or cavern of terror? Thanks in advance!
Or any guesses on the best?
Answer:
Try the Cavern of Terror in Excelsior Springs. I went there last year and it was really different from the Beast or Edge of Hell. The whole waiting line area is in the cave, and they have a big projection screen on the wall featuring a scary movie while you wait. The costumed staff also like to terrorize and tease while you wait in line. You can print $2 off coupons straight from their website. It takes approx. 45 to go through. Hope this helps!

KC CHIEFS FANS: How much longer are we going to put up with King Carl? Question: Kansas City's GM is the #1 reason why we had our worst season in over 20 years last year and with the loss of Jared Allen it seems to be getting worse. Do you think he has a pact with the devil and wants us to lose for his own secret amusement or has this guy lost it?
Answer:
Loosing jarred allen was the best thing that could happen to the chiefs!
Jared was a troublsome player who was unhappy with the team and was causing problems within the organisation due to his contract situation. With him gone the chiefs were able to get a 1st round pick and pick up branden albert(dont forget about the 2 3rd rounders). they are going to be a much better team with this trade. Peterson did the right thing trading away allen. I bet in the next few months he will have another alcohol related problem and be suspended from the nfl and he wont play a single game with the vikings this season. would you want a player like that on your team? he is a ticking time bomb
Anyways i agree with you that carl had alot to do with last seasons results. At that time I wanted him gone as much as you do but...this draft has regained hope for him and he is leading the franchise in a new direction. Him and herm did a great job and i am excited to see how everything unfolds next season.
but....if the chiefs dont improve at all in 08 then it will officialy be bye bye carl peterson.
