City DescriptionNew Liberty is a city in Scott County, Iowa, United States. The population was 121 at the 2000 census.
New Liberty is located at 41°43′2″N 90°52′46″W / 41.71722, -90.87944 (41.717125, -90.879327).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.1 square miles (0.2 km²), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 121 people, 45 households, and 35 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,275.5 people per square mile (519.1/km²). There were 46 housing units at an average density of 484.9/sq mi (197.3/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 100.00% White.
There were 45 households out of which 42.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.8% were married couples living together, 8.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.2% were non-families. 20.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.69 and the average family size was 2.86.
