Is it about time this came out? Some Jehovah's Witnesses want more than to leave Watchtowers ? Question: Towns where Alleged Jehovah's Witness Child molesters have been reported to silentlambs
Home
Listed by each state
If you would to add a new listing contact silentlambs at info@silentlambs.org
The list below is designed to alert you to a possible danger in your community. Over the course of the last four years silentlambs has been a repository of reports on alleged Jehovah's Witness child molesters. Victims have reported extensively on times, dates and places abuse occurred. We have wrestled with how to alert the public as well as members that may be in congregations where abusers have been reported.
We offer the following suggestions if you as a Jehovah's Witness are in a town/congregation where a report has been made.
Do not allow your children to be alone with anyone in the congregation.
Escort your children to the bathroom during meetings and make sure no else is with them when using facilities.
Never allow your children to be alone in the car with anyone while in field service.
Do not allow any member to study with your child alone.
Avoid camping trips in which children go as a group with one or two adults.
Avoid baby sitters that are adult males.
At a get together watch your children and keep them in sight at all times.
Ask elders directly if they know of any abusers in your congregation, use specific names and note their reaction. They will not tell you directly but indirectly you can often figure out who it is. If one elder is less cooperative talk to another till you find out enough information to know the facts.
Check the local sex offender list in your area, type in the name of every person in your congregation to see if any are listed.
Notice any male member of the congregation that does not have privileges such as microphone or other duties around the congregation, especially if for a long period of time. They can offer talks on the TMS or sermons Service Meeting but are not allowed to conduct meetings. (This is only in case of a confessed child molester)
Note any member of the congregation that has children with sever rebellion or emotional problems.
Do not allow your children to have sleepovers with anyone.
Note members that the elders avoid having around their children.
If you are a member of the public and your community is on the list take the following steps to protect your family.
If Jehovah's Witnesses call at your home never allow them in your home
If you do not wish Jehovah's Witnesses to call at your home purchase a no trespassing sign and place it near your door. JW's are instructing to only respect "no trespassing" signs any other variation will be ignored.
If you do not wish Jehovah's Witnesses to call you can also call the local number and ask to be placed on the "do not call" list. They will note your home and check about once a year to make sure you wish to remain on the list.
If you choose to study with Jehovah's Witnesses do so at a neutral location such as the local Kingdom Hall or in a public place.
Never allow your child to be alone with members or their children.
If you choose to attend meetings with Jehovah's Witnesses then we suggest you follow the guidelines above for members.
Remember that most members are not aware of who the molesters are in their congregation according to church policy. They do not know.
If two Jehovah's Witnesses call at your door one could be a child molester. According to church guidelines all confessed child molesters are required to have a partner when going door to door. If two Jehovah's Witnesses appear at your door you might wish to ask if one or both are child molesters for peace of mind. Of course keep in mind if the person is an accused child molester they are allowed to work alone in the door to door work.
We hope this information is helpful and assists with the ultimate goal of silentlambs, protecting children. Check back as the list is updated on a regular basis.

Searching for ideas on Romantic Surprises!? Question: My boyfriend lives in Brooklyn, NY and I'm in Indiana. He's moving pretty soon, and I'm getting a key. =) This means I have the chance to sneak in and surprise him. I'm looking for some romantic surprise ideas. He's a hopeless romantic himself. I'll probably be doing this around New Years Eve. Thanks in advance. Oh, and if it helps...the surprise will probably take place with him coming home from work.
Answer:
Wow, where to start?
1. Lit candles all over the house and rose petals strewn on the floor leading to you waiting in a huge bubble bath for him?
2. A treasure map stuck to the front door, as he follows it around the apartment he can find further clues, perhaps a CD her told you he wanted to buy, his favourite bottle of wine and then leading straight to you?
3. His favourite meal prepared by you, table beautifully set, his favourite music playing and you in a drop dead dress?
Have a wonderful time together, I'm so excited for you!

What do you think about these names? Question: Victory- Boy
Indiana (Indy)- Boy
Bluebell- Girl
Cruz- Boy
Brooklyn- Boy
Romeo- Boy
Phoenix- Girl
Madchen- Girl
Maksim- Boy
London- Girl
Liberty- Girl
Xara- Girl
Sheba- Girl
Geri- Girl
If you haven't noticed, I'm a big fan of odd names.
Ok so I'm a huge Spice Girls fan and I got most of these names from them. I'll explain how I came up with them:
Victory- almost like Victoria, as in Beckham,.
Indiana (Indy)- I just liked the name
Bluebell- Geri Halliwell's baby's name is Bluebell and I quite like it cos when I think of the name I think adorable cos Geri's daughter is the cutest baby ever!
Cruz- David and Victoria Beckham's youngest son
Brooklyn- David and Victoria Beckham's oldest son and I also have a torotise named Brooklyn.
Romeo- David and Victoria Beckham's middle son
Phoenix- Melanie Brown's oldest daughter
Madchen- My dad had a dog named Madchen and it means "girl" in German I think.
Maksim- Melanie Brown's dance partner on Dancing W/ the Stars and I also like that name and it could be "Maks" or Max for short.
London- I really like the name.
Liberty- I like the name
Xara- One of my dog's names. Pronounced Zara.
Geri- Spice Girl and my idol and the person I look up to the most. And I love the name.
Answer:
Victory- personally, i wouldnt think of this as a boys name
Indiana (Indy)- This is okay, not quite my favorite
Bluebell- This is an adorable name for a little girl, but when she is 40 i dont think bluebell is a name for an older person maybe use bluebell as a nickname?
Cruz- not my favorite
Brooklyn- i really like this name for a boy, i know it was origionally a boys name, now it is more of a girls name, so he might get teased in middle school and all, but i do like this name
Romeo- nope, not too good, it is overused
Phoenix- like the city? i dont really find this a pretty name sorry
Madchen- this name sounds pretty harsh, for a girl, i woudl want a sweeter, softer name
Maksim- never heard of this, but when i try to say it, it almost makes me have a lisp
London- a pretty good name, not too common, which is nice
Liberty- i really like this name, probably my favorite on the list, it is very pretty and feminine
Xara- is this kind of like sara? i dont really like this one
Sheba- like the queen of sheba? hmm not to fond of this one either
Geri- sounds kind of like Jerry, and it is quite masculine for a girl
you have an intersting choice of names, i like that you choose names that are unusual which will make the child unique

Why do so many blacks girls in NYC prefer white guys? Question: I originally lived in a small town in PA, then went to college in Indiana, so this is very new to me. I've also had several black girls tell me to stay away from other black girls that like me because they only date white guys for money and status, which angered me that someone might want to use me like that. When I am with black girls in Brooklyn and other places black guys tend to say stuff, not to me, but to her. This is very embarrassing and worries me that something violent might happen one day. Should I even pursue this? I've never considered blacks before because I lived near so few of them, so a part of me wants to see if I can find a nice here girl no matter what her race is. On the other hand, it is much more of a pain in my butt than dating a white or even hispanic girl. Any suggestions?
Ms. T, you are reading way too much into this question and there was no racism intended. I was not saying that black women want white guys for their money. This is something that I have been told a lot by other black women, so it was a concern to me. It would have been a concern no matter the girls race. Please don't call me names when you don't know me. I would treat you with more respect than that.
Answer:
its because of the 7:1 ratio ... 7 educated black women for every 1 black man ... but the numbers are significantly different when it come to white men ... it not solely a gold digging issue ... make no mistake its about financial security ... the black woman is looking for someone who has something to offer ... and she sees that in a white man ... after the thugs, the jailed, the baby mamma drama, the homosexual, the ones on the DL, and STD's ... many black woman look outside their race ... black men and women date outside their race for completely different reasons! but in the end its not all about money, other issues play a hugh role.

The CHURCH OF OPRAH! Is a new religion aborning? Question: An Indiana University Religious studies professor, Kathryn Lofton, studies the Oprah TV phenomenon.
Lofton said ,"Oprah’s self-described movement virtually always comes down to spiritual change through material gain and self-indulgence, rather than sacrifice. “She relentlessly turns people back to themselves with messages like, ‘If you buy yourself that skirt it will make you feel better and if you feel better, it’ll make you a better mom,"
“We talk in class about how to define a religion and ask what are we looking for when studying a religion,”
When I studied Oprah, I found that, yes, there are absolutely ritual practices. And, yes, there is a creed.
Old saying: "A bird in hand is worth 2 in the bush".
Is Oprah's gain today "A bird in hand" while Christianities
totally unsubstantiated promises, based only on faith, for an afterlife nought but "pie in the sky"?
Have you bought the Brooklyn Bridge lately also?
Answer:
There are also a ton of Christian churches that believe that God' blessings are shown through material possessions, so really, Oprah isn't anything new.
Rent this documentary for an interesting view of it. You'll find your teacher's ideas are not new at all.

2008 Hall of Fame class, who gets in and who doesn't? Question: NORTH AMERICAN COMMITTEE FINALISTS
VICTOR BUBAS - Contributor (Finalist in 2003), the 1996 recipient of the prestigious John Bunn Lifetime Achievement Award, began a lifelong love affair with basketball in his hometown of Gary, Indiana before attending North Carolina State University where he played for, and coached alongside, Hall of Famer Everett Case. As a player, Bubas helped NC State reach the NCAA Final Four in 1950. Bubas then landed the head coaching position at Duke University in 1959 where he led the Blue Devils to three NCAA Final Fours (1963, 1964, 1966) and four ACC championships (1960, 1963, 1964, 1966). His strong work ethic and vision helped put Duke on the national map in basketball and made Bubas the second winningest coach in the 1960s behind Hall of Famer John Wooden. As the Commissioner of the Sun Belt Conference from 1976-1990, Bubas played a key role in the NCAA's adoption of the both the three-point line and the 45-second shot clock.
ADRIAN DANTLEY - Player (Finalist in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007), a native of Washington, D.C., was one of the most prolific scorers in NBA history. He had a stellar 15-year NBA career with seven different teams (Buffalo Braves, Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Lakers, Utah Jazz, Detroit Pistons, Dallas Maverick and Milwaukee Bucks), the majority of the time spent with the Jazz (1979-86). At all levels, Dantley enjoyed success - as a scholastic All-America player at DeMatha Catholic High School (Md.), as a collegian at Notre Dame (1973-76), as the leading scorer (19.3 ppg) of the gold medal 1976 Olympic team and as a professional where he was Rookie of the Year in 1977. His 23,177 career points still ranks 23rd all-time in the NBA. He scored 2,223 points in three seasons (25.8) at Notre Dame, ranks second in Irish career scoring and was a unanimous First Team All-America list in 1975 and 1976. In all but four seasons as a professional, Dantley averaged 20 points or better, including topping the 30-point mark four straight years (1981-84). The six-time NBA All-Star (1980-82, 1984-86) was named NBA Comeback Player of the Year in 1984, the year he led the league in scoring (30.6).
WILLIAM (Bill) DAVIDSON - Contributor (Finalist in 2007), 85, is a lifelong Michigan resident born in Detroit, where he has created both NBA and WNBA dynasties. An owner of the Pistons since 1974 and the WNBA Shock since 1998, Davidson's Pistons have captured three NBA crowns to go along with two WNBA titles for the Shock. Davidson has served as Chairman of the NBA Board of Governors, and has been an innovative business leader in the sports industry - building the revolutionary Palace of Auburn Hills, playing an integral role in structuring modern NBA salary cap and free agency standards, and even owning the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning and capturing a Stanley Cup. His Pistons have featured several Hall of Famers, including Isiah Thomas, Joe Dumars, Chuck Daly and Larry Brown.

The 1986 NBA Rookie of the Year landed a spot on 11 NBA All Star rosters including ten in a row from 1998 to 1997. A member of the NBA 50th Anniversary Team, Ewing scored 24,815 points during his 17-year NBA career to go along with 11,607 rebounds. Named Parade Magazine's National High School Player of the Year in 1981, Ewing remains the New York Knicks, all-time leader in points, rebounds, blocked shots, steals and field goals made.
DENNIS JOHNSON - Player (Finalist in 1999, 2003, 2005), was one of basketball's toughest defenders earning nine consecutive NBA All-Defensive team honors during his 14-year pro career, including six spots on the All-Defensive First Team. A member of three NBA championship teams, Johnson led the Seattle Supersonics to the 1979 NBA title and was named Finals Most Valuable Player. He was an unheralded player coming out of high school and college, but left his mark on the NBA as a five-time All Star (1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1985) and one of the game's great clutch performers.
CHRIS MULLIN - Player (Finalist in 2007), a McDonald's High School All-America from Brooklyn, NY, was a five-time NBA All-Star and collegiate standout at St. John's, where he was named Big East Player of the Year an unprecedented three times. A two-time Olympic gold medalist (1984, 1992), Mullin played 16 NBA seasons for Golden State and Indiana, amassing 17,911 points while averaging more than 20 ppg for six consecutive seasons. Nelson is one of the modern game's great innovators with his small-ball offense, his eye for international talent and his ability to reinvent preconceived notions about positions on the basketball court. He led the Golden State Warriors to a 4-2 game upset of the Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the 2007 NBA Playoffs, the first time a #8 seed defeated a #1 seed in a seven-game series. In 1996, Nelson was named to the NBA's Ten Best Coaches of All-Time list and has served his country as the head coach of the 1994 U.S. men's national team that won the gold medal at the World Championships.
HAKEEM OLAJUWON - Player, a native of Lagos, Nigeria, spent the lion's share of his basketball career in Houston, Texas where he led the Houston Rockets to back-to-back NBA championships in 1994 and 1995 and the University of Houston to three consecutive Final Four appearances from 1982 to 1984. A two-time Defensive Player of the Year, Olajuwon still holds the NBA record for blocked shots (3,830) and is the only player to record more than 3,000 blocked shots and 2,000 steals in a career. Olajuwon was also a five-time member of the NBA All-Defensive First Team, a six-time All-NBA First Team performer, and the 1994 NBA MVP. He recorded 26,946 points and 13,748 rebounds in 18 NBA seasons, good for ninth and fourteenth respectively on the all-time NBA leader board.
PAT RILEY - Coach, has experienced success at all levels and in all realms of the game. A player on the 1966 University of Kentucky Final Four team, Riley has left his biggest mark on the game in coaching. Riley is a three-time NBA Coach of the Year and currently ranks third on the all-time wins list in NBA history behind Hall of Famer Lenny Wilkens and fellow finalist Don Nelson. His greatest achievements have come in the form of five NBA championships, including four as the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers (1982, 1985, 1987, 1988) and a fifth patrolling the sidelines for the Miami Heat in 2005. He is a member of the NBA's Ten Best Coaches of All-Time and is the only coach in history to win NBA Coach of the Year honors with three different teams.
DICK VITALE - Contributor (Finalist in 2004, 2006), a native of Passaic, NJ, has been synonymous with college basketball for more than 20 years as the lead color announcer for ESPN. A successful coach at the high school (East Rutherford), collegiate (University of Detroit) and professional (Detroit Pistons) levels, Vitale began his broadcasting career with ESPN in 1979 and has helped make the network an integral part of college basketball's popularity. Guitar Man & Secure... I'm sorry, based on your reaction I must have touched a nerve.
Answer:
Because you do not even need a science degree to perform some of the tasks involved in studying the "physics of 911." You need web designers and account and other miscellaneous staff. You need non-PhD's to handle the computing and development the equipment/techniques for data acquisition. Also, a degree is just a piece of paper. It does not limit you to a particular field. Someone who studies biology can turn and study Physics.

I just want to add. I know some of those names aren't different. I just copied and pasted the names off of celebrity baby names list. I noticed alot were diff and some weren't . I am only talking about the names that are diff. I mean come on some of those names were crazy... Moon Unit? what's that all about?
Answer:
Are you ranting? Yeah your kid is going to get picked on and he has a hughe space to fill to live up to the potintial of his name, but do you love him? So what's the gruff? He's your child and your choice, at eightteen if he wants to change it he will if he thinks it defines him and fits him completely he won't but don't get so worked up over such a small thing as this. Use the energy that you spent on these names for something more usefull, like how the next time someone critisis the names your going to turn it to a complement, "Yes we know his name is unusual but isn't it pretty? We love the way it roles off of our tongue." GL!

I have a question!!? Question: If I were to start talking with a British accent, even though I have never been to England, people would say I was an idiot. I am from Illinois and if I were to start talking with a Texas or Brooklyn accent even though I have never been to either place people would call me a moron. Why then, do people who have never even been to a ghetto think it is cool to try to talk like they are from the projects or something. I was visiting family in Terre Haute, Indiana (which doesn't even have a ghetto) and a lot of the white kids there do that (or at least try to sound like what they THINK people in the ghetto sound like).
Answer:
I think it's because they see it's "cool" from the media, and they want to feel accepted. But it's ridiculous because they usually just sound uneducated. Ugh, teenagers!

Each team will play their division rivals 4 times each, every other conference rival 3 times each, and every opposite conference rival 2 times each. This all adds up to a 92 game season.
Answer:
The NBA is seriously considering expanding into Europe. I don't think any of the expansion teams you've named, with the exception of Seattle, are feasible. San Diego has already lost two franchises, as has St. Louis, because of lack of interest. Tampa Bay would siphon fans from the Heat, and the Nets aren't going to divide the Brooklyn/Jersey fan base with another team.

Did you all know that Obama is still violating laws with donors? Question: Obama Campaign Runs Afoul of Finance Rules
Wednesday, October 8, 2008 8:25 PM
By: Kenneth R. Timmerman
A Newsmax investigation of Barack Obama’s presidential campaign finance reports has turned up more than 2,000 cases in which individuals have made donations far above the legal limit of $2,300 per election.
Such donations, if not returned within 60 days, violate federal campaign finance laws.
Some can be chalked up to common names, such as Michael Brown, William Taylor, or James Smith.
But many others cannot.
On Aug. 31, for example, the Obama campaign filed a report listing a single donation from a Debra Myers in “Rancho Palos Verde, Calif.,” for $28,500 – more than 10 times the amount the law allows per election. Although Debra Myers is identified as a physician, only two individuals with that last name have a listed phone number in Rancho Palos Verdes (the city’s name actually does have an “s” at the end). Neither is a Debra or a “D” Myers, or a physician.
The Obama campaign also identified Woodrow Myers Jr. of Indianapolis, Ind., on Aug. 31 as having given $28,500 to the campaign. Woodrow “Woody” Myers is a former Indiana state health commissioner who spent $2.1 million of his own money in a failed special election to challenge Andre Carson, the grandson of U.S. Rep. Julia Carson, who died in December. The younger Carson won the race this year, with heavy backing from lobbyists, the Democratic Party and related PACs. (Interestingly, Woodrow Myers' wife is identified as Debra, although Newsmax could not confirm whether this is the same Debra Myers the campaign report lists as being from Palos Verdes.)
In an initial reply to Newsmax questions, the Obama campaign said it had refunded both contributions on Sept. 30, a day after a Newsmax investigation was published that revealed extensive federal election campaign violations by the campaign.
The Republican National Committee cited that earlier Newsmax investigation in a formal complaint against the Obama campaign with the Federal Election Commission on Monday.
Several hours later, Obama spokesman Ben LaBolt e-mailed Newsmax to say that the contributions had been “reattributed” to the Obama Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee with the Democratic National Committee, and that the excess had been refunded.
That still put both Debra Myers and Woodrow Myers over the federal limits – unless the Obama campaign refunded their entire checks, since Debra gave another $28,500 earlier in the year to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and Woodrow was way over the $108,2000 overall election cycle limit for individuals.
Individuals can give $2,300 to a federal candidate in both the primary and the general election, for a total of $4,600 in a single election cycle. They also can give $28,500 to a national party committee, $10,000 to a state or local committee, and $5,000 to other political committees.
If a candidate loses the primary, any money counted toward the general election must be refunded, a wrinkle in the federal election laws that can sink losing candidates deep in debt.
In exchange for receiving federal funding, the McCain campaign agreed not to take any money from individual donors for the general election, so its donors are limited to $2,300.
In addition to Debra Myers and Woodrow Meyers, hundreds of other individual donors have given to the Obama campaign far in excess of the legal limit, a Newsmax analysis of campaign finance records shows.
Among them:
# James Sievers of Big Sky, Mont., gave a total of $20,700 to the campaign, in five donations between March and June of this year. The campaign has returned close to $7,000 of the money but has kept the rest.
# Martin Dies of Austin, Texas, also gave $20,700 to the campaign, in four separate checks, each dated June 30, 2007. The campaign returned $2,300 of it immediately, and another $4,600 in September, but kept $13,800 – three times the legal limit.
# Robert Watt of Brooklyn, N.Y., gave close to $17,000 to the campaign starting in February of this year, including a whopping $10,000 check logged by the campaign on Aug. 31. Despite the obvious violation of the campaign limits, FEC records show that the campaign returned just $2,300.
# Ryan Finley of Portland, Ore., has given $15,400 to Obama for America, starting with two checks on March 6, 2007, totaling $6,900. The campaign immediately returned $2,300, bringing him within the legal limit. He gave another $8,500 in a lump sum on Aug. 26, 2008.
# Ms. Merry T. O’Donnell of Juno Beach, Fla., has given $13,150 to the Obama campaign, starting with three donations in March 2007 that totaled $2,000. In January 2008, she gave two more donations of $1,000 each, as well as donations for $600 and for $2,000. In February, she gave another $4,600. As of the latest filing, the campaign has refunded just $2,300 of the total, leaving her net donations at over two times the legal limit
# Jerry Rubin of Whitefish Bay, Wis., has given $12,700 to the Obama campaign in varying amounts since February 2007. Despite the obvious violation, the campaign has refunded just $3,400 of that total, still putting him at double the legal limit.
These are just a sampling of the 2,087 individuals who have given Obama more than the $4,600 combined total for the primaries and the general election.
Donors with common names but who live in different parts of the country are among these 2,087 names. For example, the top individual contributor is Michael Brown, listed as giving $36,706 to the campaign.
But a closer look turns up what appear to be 46 different people sharing the same name, each giving addresses in different cities around the United States.
Newsmax has screened donors appearing in the FEC database to weed out those with similar names and different addresses.
For example, in the examples listed in this article, we have eliminated any donations from individuals with the sa
For example, in the examples listed in this article, we have eliminated any donations from individuals with the same name who are listed as having a different address.
The FEC regularly sends letters to the Obama campaign, questioning contributions that appear to go over the legal limits. In many cases, the Obama campaign has amended its reports as a result.
But the examples cited here have not been amended.
“It is illegal to make contributions in excess of the limits, and it is illegal to receive contributions in excess of the limits,” FEC spokesman Bob Biersack told Newsmax.
So both the donors and the campaign may have broken the law. “But there are lots of circumstances, and until the four commissioners have agreed to rule, it’s hard to judge,” he said.
Obama campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt told Newsmax that the McCain campaign also has caught excess donations and has “refunded $1.2 million in contributions.”
Sean Cairncross, the general counsel for the Republican National Committee who filed the complaint with the FEC on Monday, told Newsmax that the McCain campaign has been “completely transparent with respect to its contributions” by making
“The Obama campaign has steadfastly refused to make that information public,” he said.
Referring specifically to the huge amount of money that the Obama campaign claims it has raised from small donors, Cairncross said the identity and nationality of those donors could very well remain secret until well after the election unless the Obama campaign makes their names public.
“The American people deserve to know where $250 million in contributions — money that could potentially elect a president — is coming from,” he said. “And at this point, we have no way of knowing.”
