Batesville, IN was founded by George H. Dunn, who began a company called The John Callahan Trust Company, in 1852. The purpose of his company was to buy land and create new towns. By buying new land, he could lay new railroads, and Dunn was also the president of I & C Railroad. Questions Possibly Related to Batesville, IndianaProvided By Y! Answers
Batesville Indiana? Greensburg, IN? What's out there? Question: I might be moving there for job offer (hospital) and wondering what's life out there as compared here in Phoenix, AZ. My research tells me it's kinda BORING :( w/o malls and one Starbucks around. What do people there normally do? And shops! No Target, just Walmart, no Pizza hut either. I'm getting the vibes it's pretty empty and drab. I might be wrong. Please help me before I move my family miles away and end up shaking our heads.
Also, any nearby cities like Greensburg to make us feel alive at least? We're Asian and kinda worried about Racial Discrimination too.
Thanks for your info!
Answer:
I had a friend from Greensburg and he said there was one street light, and it flashed. He said there's nothing to do, super boring. All everyone does there is go to church. I can't remember what he said the population was, but it's a SUPER small town. He thought our town of 100,000 people was MASSIVE. He said for fun he and his friends would ride around. Have fun!
