Angola was founded by Thomas Gale and Cornelius Gilmore. Angola is home to Trine University. The town is served by I-69 and the Indiana Toll Road (I-80 and I-90).
Angola, IN 46703 is located at 41°38′13″N 85°0′3″W / 41.63694, -85.00083, at the intersection of U.S. 20 and State Road 127. They are known to the citizens of Angola as North and South Wayne street and West and East Maumee street.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4.2 square miles (11.0 km²), of which, 4.2 square miles (11.0 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (0.47%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 7,344 people, 2,769 households, and 1,578 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,736.4 people per square mile (670.3/km²). We are looking for an affordable place to stay in Angola, IN near Pokagon State Park. We are a family of 4 with small children (ages 3 & 5) and are meeting another family of 5 (with kids too). We would share a cabin or get hotel rooms but our main purpose is to spend time together. Any suggestions?

I have not seen my children in 6 years and the father has known my whereabouts the whole time. I was in a fatal shooting and was disabled for a few years, now it has been 3 years working and they want to take my money, yet there is no visitation established. I don't mind paying, but shouldn't the children know thier mother? The children currently reside in Ohio, and I am sure there is some interstate compact law, I am of liitle means and work part time living only on my income. I have thought about them for many years and have felt deeply,"Why am I not there?" It was out of my control and I think I really need help with this!!! I was ill when all these court procedings to place and could not defend myself to establish costody/visitation.

Well, first of all, no one hosts a team - they are businesses. set up with a half-time home. Second, you are obviously one of those jackasses that think you know more than they do and can take cheap shots at my home state. OK, that felt good! Maybe, it is because they already have the Super Bowl champion, the Indy 500, and David Letterman so they have to leave SOMETHING for somebody else. (By the way, I now live in China -yeah I know here come the joke s about look how far he went to get away from Indiana, but the truth is i was trying to find another state to live in, but nothign looked good so I just went on to China wher ethe women are prettiest!
