Looking for homeles shelters in or near New Albany, Indiana? Question: I am looking for homeless shelters in or near New Albany, Indiana. Even just a number I can call to get this information would be appreciated.
THAT DOESN'T EXACTLY HELP ME RIGHT NOW THOUGH DOES IT. I JUST GOT A JOB BUT I DON'T GET A PAYCHECK FOR 2 WEEKS AND HAVE TO SAVE ENOUGH MONEY FOR DEPOSITS AND STUFF TO GET INTO A PLACE. I AM JUST LOOKING FOR SOMEWHERE THAT CAN HELP ME OUT UNTIL I CAN GET MY MONEY SAVED UP TO GET MY OWN PLACE.
Answer:
Get a job at wal-mart. they'll hire you. There you can get on your feet and apply for better jobs. After that you can enroll in community college to get a associates degree and then you can transfer to a university to get a bachelors degree. You can get college loans to pay for college and you don't have to pay them back until you graduate and start making real money. After you graduate, depending on your degree you could make up to 75,000 dollars a year. THIS WHOLE PROCESS only takes 5 years, from walmart to making 75,000 dollars a year. ITS NOT AS HARD AS YOU THINK. THIS IS AMERICA.

Is there really a sniper in Indiana as we speak? Question: I heard that there was a sniper in Indiana. He apparently killed a 40-yr-old New Albany man today and is near Seymour. What's up?
Answer:
Yep. It's been all over the news, including CNN and the ABC Evening News. Dude who got killed was from New Albany, and was a passenger. They were heading south back to New Albany when it happened. Someone else in the Seymour area near that shooting got shot, but was otherwise o.k. Two more shootings about 2 hours north around the Muncie exit, although it looks like the shooter backtracked on the fourth shooting 'cause that was a mile back toward Indy.

In the Louisville, KY, including southern Indiana, where can I find an Asian grocery, especially Japanese? Question: I recently bought a cookbook of Japanese recipes, but most of the ingredients are unusual. It seems like the only place I would be able to find them would be at an Asian grocery.
I live in southern Indiana, in the Clarksville area, so I would prefer a grocery in New Albany, Clarksville, or Jeffersonville, but I'm not opposed to driving to Louisville.
Thank you in advance.
Answer:
There are only two places in town (Louisville) which carries Japanese food selections. Choi's Asian market on Lyndon Ln. Just north of LaGrange Rd.
Asian Food Market at Preston and Gilmore Ln. in the shopping plaza behind Wendy's. This one has most Japanese food selctions. To get a good selection, you'll have to drive to the one at Preston. Hope this help, and good luck on your cooking.

Driving from Albany to Dallas, what route is best? Question: OK, I have two choices, either
Buffalo, Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, Oklahoma
or
Virgina, Tennesse and Mississippi etc.
Which one is less strain for the car but at the same time more fun to drive?
Thanks!!
Answer:
Easiest on the car? Stay west, but it's a boring trip.
Staying east and shooting down I-81 promises many photographic sites and nice mountain driving for half the trip. It's more strain on an older car. Use lots of cruise control.
My choice with a solid car? Stay east and enjoy the South.
