Answer:
This is the way to file a complaint against any one who deals in contracts or business... Call the State Attorney Generals Office and request a complaint form from the Comsumer Protection Dept. They will send you a form to fill out and return in the snail mail, included with the form will be the instructions on how to fill the form out. Be clear and concise with your information and have evidence available when they request it. If you are not completely satisfied with this answer there are some other route that you can take such as filing a complaint with the State Board of Realtors just to mention a few. I know it IS legal to work at 14 in Indiana. But you can only work 18 hours in a school week. But you can work 40 in a non school week. I want an actual job not like babysitting or grass mowing. I have already tried them.

How good or bad as a neighborhood is Whiting, Indiana?

I live in Whiting, IN. I have been living here since 2001. WOW its been a long time. Well I used to live in South Chicago which in some areas are GHETTO. So Whiting for me was like the suburbs. But realistically I think its really nice. There is their motto The Little City on the Lake. It has a downtown on 119th St. And it has like an old town feel to it. It also has an old neighborhood area near Whihala beach that are like show houses. Where they decorate their houses beutifully inside and out and they have a contest. Also the beach is nice, not poluted like the beaches in Chicago. You also have only a few houses around the neighborhood that are kinda abandoned but not alot. They also have a Whiting Community Center that I go out often that has a gym, pool, sauna, basketball court, bowling lanes, classes and stuff for kids. I love it cuz you right near the city of chicago but not the hussle of a city. And did I mention taxes are way cheaper. To get your car registered is way cheaper compared to Chicago. In the chicago you need a city sticker too. In indiana you dont. Which you save alot a money and there are no taxes on food. And the Whiting police are strict so you know you are safe they have a 10 block radius so there are always around which is ok. But if you want something nicer I recommend Munster, Merrillville or Schererville. There its more like suburbs BIGGER HOUSES AND subdivisions. Its really beautiful out there. But if you want something smaller little city near the big city I'd go with Whiting. I love it here.
On, the contrary IT IS NOT polluted. But there is a Refinery and industrial companies. The whole south chicago and northwest indiana is surrounded by these companies. If that bothers you then you might not like it. I have been surrounded by that my whole life so I doesnt bother me.

All you have to do is get a business license from city hall. Or at least that's how it is where I am. Either way, you'd have to go to city hall to get the permit so you should double check there just to be safe.

How early should I get to the OSU vs. Indiana game tonight?

I have landed court-side tickets to the OSU/Indiana game tonight, and I have a question. How early should I arrive at the game if it starts at 8:00? Also, if you know the OSU campus area at all, where should I park. We only have one parking pass, and my boyfriend and I have to drive separate. In the Louisville, KY, including southern Indiana, where can I find an Asian grocery, especially Japanese?

I recently bought a cookbook of Japanese recipes, but most of the ingredients are unusual. It seems like the only place I would be able to find them would be at an Asian grocery.
I live in southern Indiana, in the Clarksville area, so I would prefer a grocery in New Albany, Clarksville, or Jeffersonville, but I'm not opposed to driving to Louisville.

There are only two places in town (Louisville) which carries Japanese food selections. Choi's Asian market on Lyndon Ln. Just north of LaGrange Rd.
Asian Food Market at Preston and Gilmore Ln. in the shopping plaza behind Wendy's. This one has most Japanese food selctions. To get a good selection, you'll have to drive to the one at Preston. Hope this help, and good luck on your cooking.

The website listed below has all the accredited ultrasound programs, listed by state. There are none in Indiana. You can search for other states near you for programs, by going to the site below. Search "diagnostic medical sonography" and whichever state you wish.
Don't waste your time or money on a NON-accredited program. After completion of such program, you must work a full year in the field or ultrasound before you can take your licensing exams. Problem is.....you will have a hard time getting that job without a license. Best wishes....

I dont know exactly but usually rn nurses make around 60,000 a year starting at hospital no matter if you are adn or bsn hospital rates are much,much higher than the rest of the nursing field plus its recomended for rn new grads is the best place to gain experience

You can get an Indiana personal protection permit when you are 18 yrs old. I applied for and received mine when I was 19 yrs old. You must be 21 to buy a handgun, but you only need to be 18 to carry one if you have a permit.

What are the average closing cost for FHA mortgages in Indiana?

My wife and I both have good credit. We will be putting 5% down, and I will be shopping for the best deal I can find. What can I expect to need out of pocket for closing costs? I already know I will have to pay one year of home owner's insurance in advance, but what will be the ball park of the other fees?

I just closed one in LaPorte county, IN. FHA, no junk fees, etc. She brought 1% to the table which covered pre-paids and closing costs. Not that unusual in Indiana to need 1-2% at closing. Better check out the tax situation though, they are all in a mess right now and you don't want to have to scramble to make up an escrow deficit next year when the county hits you with double or triple taxes.

Does anyone know where I can find a service dog for seizures in Indiana?

I have a 15 yr old daughter who has many health issues. I have been told a service dog may help but I cant find any listed anywhere.I have read that German Shepards are very good at detecting seizures enough in advance that she would have time to get safely on the floor. Also she has "absent partial seizures" Not grand mall so seh doesnt thrash about BUT she does fall without warning and has been hurt many times. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

They base your payments on how much you made at your last job. Like if you got paid 300 every two weeks they would pay you between 300 and 500 every two weeks.
I seriously doubt you'll get it though. Good luck on that. I'm bipolar among other things and they won't give it to me.

Where can i find free dogs in northwest indiana. I live in merrillville?

im looking for a dog. ive checked one of the newspapers online and couldnt find any free ones. I have a purebred chocolate lab that i bought a year ago, and i want a new buddy for him. i prefer a small to medium sized dog, but have no problems with large dogs, hence, me having a lab. thanks so much in advance for the help.
oh and by the way, the community that i live in does not allow german shepards, pit bulls, pincers, or those beethoven dogs. thanks!!

Free dogs are not really free if you are going to spay or neuter them. Adopting them from the shelter or an adoption agency gives you the vaccines needed, the heart worm test, needed and the spay and neuter for much less than you could get without the agencies help. If you must find a free dog there are occasionally newspaper ads and some dogs are already tested, vaccinate etc. you might get lucky. Also check out Hoosiertopics.com the area is about an hour south of you but there are a lot of free pets listed on that classified. I hope that you consider to spay or neuter your dogs. If you are considering puppies please go to Brighton Inhope and click on the movie for English language (obviously) and watch the video. It is very sad.

is it to late in season to plant a bush, we are in indiana?

we are going to uproot the big bushes in the front of our house and want to plant some smaller bushes, plants and flowers.
is it okay to go ahead with this project or is it best to wait till next year?

It's better to wait until fall, for planting, if you don't want to save the old ones you can tackle that project whenever.
Fall is a great time to plant. (you will find some great deals on plants then too) The soil is soft, making it easy to work with & for the roots to spread a little.
Then, next spring, they are already in place & ready to grow.
If you're really excited & can't wait, try to do it when the temp.s are below 80 if possible. In Cleveland we just had a week of mild temps, so it could happen. Stay on top of watering & don't forget to properly mulch, it'll help maintain moisture.
