    Bridgeview is a village in Cook County, Illinois in the United States. It is located approximately 13 miles (21 km) from the Chicago Loop. As of the 2000 census, the village population was 15,335. The village of Bridgeview is home to the Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer. It is also the home of the Chicago Red Stars. Bridgeview is located at 41°44′33″N 87°48′24″W / 41.742432°N 87.806789°W / 41.742432; -87.806789. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 4.1 square miles (10.7 km²), all of it land. The southern border of the town is Southwest Highway and Harlem Avenue. The northern border is staggered between 6700 South on the west side of the rail tracks and 6900 south on the east side of the rail tracks. Bridgeview borders the following communities: Bedford Park, Nottingham Park (unincorporated Cook County, often considered part of Chicago due to its 60638 ZIP code), Burbank, Oak Lawn, Chicago Ridge, Worth, Palos Hills, Hickory Hills and Justice.
