City DescriptionBellwood is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 20,535 at the 2000 census.
There is a railroad station with commuter service to Chicago.
Bellwood is located at 41°52′59″N 87°52′35″W / 41.88306, -87.87639 (41.882924, -87.876428).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.4 square miles (6.2 km²), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 20,535 people, 6,440 households, and 5,100 families residing in the village. The population density was 8,608.0 people per square mile (3,317.4/km²). There were 6,683 housing units at an average density of 2,801.4/sq mi (1,079.6/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 11.75% White, 81.73% African American, 0.24% Native American, 0.96% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 3.79% from other races, and 1.51% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 7.94% of the population.
There were 6,440 households out of which 39.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.0% were married couples living together, 25.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 20.8% were non-families. 17.5% of all households were made up of individuals and ... I have a close friend who moved to Bellwood in April.The problem is his job is 30 miles away.He tried to commute, pay all the tolls and still go to school.He travels over 60 miles a day plus pays 4 tolls daily.Unfortunately, it's taken a toll on him with all of the stress of the commute,all his money going to gas, tolls and rent.Recently, he lost his job because he couldnt get to work cause of high gas, tolls and it also started taking a toll on his car because of the driving so much.He will be choosing another job option that best fits location in vicinity of his school which would solve his problem. He has some great possibilities but said he will not be starting work until 2-3 weeks. ALSO, HE'S NOT 30 DAYS LATE YET BUT LOOKS LIKE HE WILL BE,landlord is not understanding of situation,she wants rent now AND its not even 30 days late!He'd like to move Nov 1st.She hasn't given 5 day notice yet. LEGALLY he wonders how long judges give to move out in Cook County, Bellwood, Illinois?

Landlords can evict if the tenant is only one day late....don't know where your getting this 30 day thing. Once eviction proceedings start, the process can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months depending on how busy the courts are in the area. Remind him that if he does get evicted...it will have an huge impact on his credit report as well as making it almost impossible to rent elsewhere.

if he really wants a job, you can try calling the guidance counselour at his school. there is a such a thing as a summer job, one that he can only work at for the summer. its a great opportunity for him to learn some responsibilty. plus, with a summer job, if he's good enough, he can get part-time during the school year. (there are also internships available which can lead to proper placement later)

I'm sure someone would buy it. Just tell them it doesn't have a Hard Drive in it. Also, if you don't have the Windows disc for the computer, they'll have to go buy a new copy of windows. But as long as it is for a reasonable price, people won't care whether it has a hard drive or not.
