I just moved to Arlington Heights Illinois from Akron Ohio. How do I find a good person to cut my gray hair.? Question: I'm 55, full head of hair, partially gray and fussy. I never know how things will work out until after it is too late. Is there a way to tell a good stylist from a less experienced one? My daughter usually cuts my hair but she moved to Atlanta to work at Van Michael an Aveda Solon in Buckhead Ga.
Answer:
if you see someone whose hair you like just go up to them and say... "I really like your hair where did you go get it done?" usually the person will be so flattered that they will tell you where they went and you can go check it out....maybe just go to the salon and get a shampoo set and see if you like how they style your hair before you get it cut its ok your allowed to do that...if you dont like them you never have to go back again this is a fail safe method to finding a good stylist

I'm trying to move out of Ohio very soon, but I'm not sure where to go. I appreciate your help.
Answer:
NO, its not.
Its expensive(The rent for my crappy little apartment is $800/month). My house is on ten acres of beautiful wooded land in Northern Wisconsin and $800.00 is what I pay for taxes. The people are dull to say the least. ( not a one can drive ) Crime is everywhere~ I refuse to drive my Hummer or Cobra down here for fear of what will happen to them. Good Jobs are fairly hard to come by, unless you know someone or are shipped here to set things up for your current employer.
Why would you want to leave Ohio? You'll be in the same position in most places.

We need to travel across country can my '05 dodge van pull my Chevy S10 pickup without ruining it? Question: Traveling from Nauvoo Illinois to Arlington Washington thru Arizona. I worry about the cost of gas also would like to travel in same viehicle but don't want to ruin our car. If we pull the little truck is there an inexpensive way to attach them? The trip will last a month so we hesitate to rent something.
Answer:
You do not say which Dodge van you have. If it is a mini van then the answer is Do Not Do It. If it is a full size van with a V-8 then sure it will. Like the others sya you will need a tow dolly and disconnect the drive shaft on th s-10 so tranny will not burn up. When the engine on the S-10 is off there is no lubrication and the spinning drive shaft (because the wheels are still turning) can cause internal tranny dame over time.

School bus jobs in Fort Worth/Arlington Texas area? Question: Does anyone know of school bus driving jobs in the Fort Worth/Arlington area? And if an Illinois cdl is transferrable to Texas?
Answer:
Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington would be more urban areas. The towns to the north of these are more suburban, new developement/strip mall areas. To the south of these is more country/open space type of area. Which would be better for you I don't know? You could try the Texas Dept of Transportation and see if they have an answer ( texas.dmv.org ) or the sites of any area you would like. I would suggest you look up the city first and then go to the school district which is usually listed as the ISD (independent school distrct) such as in Birdville ISD or mansfield ISD and see what they will accept and need

In Illinois, what's the law regarding a persons right to walk her dog to the school + waiting on the sidewalk Question: In Illinois, what's the law regarding a persons right to walk her dog to the school + waiting on the sidewalk
Question Details:My friend has two beautifully trained dogs, a black lab and a shepherd. The asst. principal insists that she cannot wait for her children (ages 6 and10) by standing on the sidewalk near the school (where all the non-dog walking parents stand). She wants to obey the law, but is tired of being harassed about her dogs.
This is in Arlington Heights, IL, but I'm looking for case law regarding similar cases anywhere in Illinois. Anyone know more about this than we do?
Answer:
Pets are generally not allowed on school property and the principal can regulate that. It is very likely the side walk she is waiting on is school property. She needs to leave the dogs at home or have the kids meet her off of school property.
