Questions Possibly Related to Carl, GeorgiaProvided By Y! Answers
What did Carl Bildt mean when he likened the russian invasion of Georgia to the nazi invasion of Europe? Question: According to Wikipaedia and swedish newspapers Carl Bildt "compared the Russian reasoning behind the attack on Georgia to Adolf Hitler's reasoning for invading much of Central Europe."
What exactly does he mean? What were Hitler's reasonings for invading european countries that paralell the current conflict in Georgia? Was he acting under the guise of protecting german citizens in those other countries?
Answer:
Poland and Czechoslovakia had signifigant ethnic German minorities. Hitler used the so-called 'persecution' of these groups as part of his cassus belli in invading these countries.

Carl Rove vacationing near Georgia a few weeks before Georgia Attacks Russian Peace Keepers--Your take? Question: There are several sources on the net showing that Carl Rove was "vacationing" in the Crimea, very close to Georgia, about 2 1/2 weeks before Georgia attacked Russian Peace Keepers in Ossetia. It might mean absolutely nothing. But maybe it was a set up. And if so, why? What is their game? What do they want? So...have you heard about Rove being in the vicinity before the Georgians attacked the Russians? And what do you make of it?
Google it, its on over a dozen sources. Most even reported it before Georgia started the war.
Answer:
I was the person who called into Thom Hartman's show on 8/13/08 and reported this. Nothing was implied other than the occurrence, so other folks who answered this question and immediately started chirping about "conspiracy theory websites" might want to check it out for themselves.
Rove's being in the Crimea for a vacation and "conference" was first reported by Andrew Malcolm of the L.A. Times, and was a result of his (Rove's) calling to express his condolences regarding the death of Tony Snow.
BTW, I don't know what Rove was doing there, or if there is any connection to the recent events in Georgia and Ossetia. However, it is notable that there are certain individuals in our government who seem to leave a trail of dead bodies in their wake wherever they go (for example: John "death squad" Negroponte). Perhaps, Mr. Rove has joined that elite cadre as well, eh?

Who will bring the world criminal - the US government and its other gang members- under arrest? Question: Who will bring the world criminal - the US government and its other gang members- under arrest? The war between the US and Russia is inevitable!!!
Here are the reason to think so.
The US government, along with its 2 gang members strategically located in Europe and the Middle East (UK and Israel) using democracy as an excuse, and flipping “separatists” and “freedom fighters” when appropriate, have commited more crimes against humankind than any other government in the world. Here are some of the crimes:
1.Military coup in Iraq with the aim of getting access to the country’s oil reserves. Millions of people in the country are dead. Carl Levin openly said on CNN that there was an agreement from the very beginning with the new elected Iraqi government that reconstruction of Iraq will be in exchange for Iraq's oil!!! 2. Torture of prisoners in Guantanama Bay 3. Support of Racism or Separatism in other countries for achieving geopolitical and economical goals(Serbia, Yugoslavia, with Taiwan, Tibet coming) 4. Vietnam war. 5. Genocide of Muslims in the Middle East.(Israel) 6. Finally - 9/11 in the US - Muslims attacked but…… WHO ALLOWED THEM to do that and WHY?
Who is behind the US government? It is US military who rules the US. The US government is just a doer. The democracy in the US has gone long ago right with JFK assassination. The presidential campaign is just a show for the ordinary American. Mac Cain is next American president, congratulations fellow Americans!!! Obama who knows what is on his mind? and even if he wins he will be murdered. He has already been warned (remember the flight control problem on take-off on the Obama’s plane?) The Americans were warned long ago about the military. But that was too late. The military complex’s been in control since long ago..
So, we are done with Iraq who will be next? Venezuela - and we won’t have to wait long.
Russia – this is especially interesting. Russia has been under attack since the collapse of the USSR. Democracy? Who cares? Who needs your democracy? We need oil, not your democracy. If Russia does not attack the US, RIGHT NOW, it may be too late. The war between Russia and the US is inevitable!!!!! After deployment of the anti-missile shield in Europe - that is supposedly against IRAN (Noncense!!! Even if Iran had the bombs it just cannot attack Europe or US) - Russia will not be able to respond to the US strike. After the Ukrain and Georgia are in NATO and the US troops are deployed in those countries Russia will be wiped out from big oil and gas business. Russia is in great danger. But Russia is no fool. That is why Russian is so preoccupied about Georgia. Russian intelligence know it Russian president know it. Iran is nothing, is there just to make everyone think is a threat and that we need the anti missile shield in Europe. Whatabout China? After the war between Russia and the US has began there will be no need for anyone to join. We all will be done. So my q is who is able to bring to justice the worlds criminal? Maybe ailiens? What you think?
That was a joke about ailiens - for those who did not get it.
All wars are about money, oil, gold etc... Who cares about democracy and human rights without getting a profit from it. I'd like to ask you about the Catrina victims how much did they get help from the government? They are here in the US they are American citizens. Where are their rights now?
Nef, if you think Russia is a criminal too it is your problem. At least I have not heard Russia dictating what the US should do in Iraq - the sovereign country as Georgia and that did not do any harm to US AT ALL. You are hypocrite, thinking you are smart?
Answer:
That's up to the American public and nobody else.

Can I sack out on your porch, on the sofa, or in your barn? Question: Today I have decided this trek, "Homecoming America 2006." — decided on the evening of Odin's Day, the nine and twentieth of Eleventh Month, 2006.
This will be my Homecoming, the first one since 2003 when I came back from Iraq.
I don’t think I even went back then. I think my mind was still in Iraq.
I will walk all the way from Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia, to Athens, then to Asheville, North Carolina; then to the Cherokee communities south of Maggie Valley, then to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; then to Red River Gorge, Kentucky, then to my ancestral home in Elizabethton, Hardin County, then to the ferry that crosses the Ohio River, then to Springfield, then to Galesburg, once home of Carl Sandburg and Edgar Lee Masters.
I will take one small tent, one blanket, one spare pair of boots, extra socks, underwear, one change of jeans, one pair of sweats, a hat, some drinking water in a camelback, some fire, and a good knife, and a copy of the Koran.
Answer:
This sounds interesting.. you should like have a on-line journal about what you experience.

What Happened to my Dog? Question: Nearly 10 months ago, my puppy Anna Belle died in the night. Here's all I know:
Every year, my family go for nearly 2 weeks to either Florida or Georgia. We left my cousin, Carl, in charge of the pets: Sandy the cat inside, Frogger the frog inside, Heart Breaker the Betta inside, Ponyboy the kitten outside, and Annie the Aussie Shepherd x Collie outside.
Carl had taken care of the pets many times before without a single problem, so he's completly innocent. All the inside animals lived. Something got ahold of my kitten and all we recognized of him was the tail, so whatever it was just tore him up and left him. We found him two days later after his death of four days.
Annie was fine the night we got back. But she seemed...different. She was usually really hyper and such. She had to be tied up while we were gone since the neighbor would kill her if he saw her, owning chickens and all. She only got lose when Carl was there to keep an eye on her.
She wasnt hyper at all when I got there. She refused to eat a piece of bread I gave her and I noticed she was trembling. I sat there for a couple hours at 1:00 in the morning just talking to her like I always do when my sister and dad fought. She stayed beside me and shook. I got really worried when she walked off a little and curled up and went to sleep. She never leaves me alone until I leave her.
I even turned back and gave her an extra hug before turning in. The next morning I went outside and saw my dad trying to make her move. She was dead. It had only been a few hours, since I went to bed late and got up early to look for my missing kitten.
My only clues are this: my mom said that she still had a lot of food in the tub that held it when we left, although she refused to eat the bread, so she wasnt malnourished. (And she had current shots, btw)
My other clue is my uncle reported spotting a copperhead snake a day or so before, and he ran it over.
This is all I know and it is too late to open her up and check it out. As a devoted dog owner, I am still haunted by her mysterious death. Please, does anyone know any helpful information? Here's a couple of her pictures at a happier time:
http://www.ponypaws.com/game_desc.php?gameid=3251
All the animals were at home while we were gone. My cousin Carl lived right next door.
Like i said earlier, she had all her shots including for heartworm and she wasnt any skinnier. As for the long story short, Im giving FULL DETAIL which might help someone determine whats going on. if I just said "My dog was trembling and wouldnt eat and died" how are you supposed to know what happened?
She was only loose when someone was outside to watch where she was going. As bad as the neighbour sounds, he is my step uncle (I hate calling him my actually uncle) and my parents, grandparents, and I all warned him that if he did a single thing to my animals if they werent bothering his chickens that he'd have to answer to me and get me new pets. He wouldnt mess with them. We had taken our cat Sandy to a kennel the last time we went but it cost so much we just couldnt do it again, let alone all of them. My dad looked over Annie -not very well, just a glance -and couldnt find anything. There was no blood and she was stretched out as far as her chain could go, facing our road.
Annie was 1 and a 1/2 years old

Moving down to Florida Question: I was born in Southern Florida and moved when I was younger. We moved to be with family in Georgia and now my Grandma from GA is moving back to Florida. I really have missed Southern Florida and where I used to live and have ever since I moved. So many things happened there. Its kind of like an attachment, I like movies and books especially if they take place in Florida (Carl Hiaasen is one of my favorite writers) and so on. And what I want is to live with my Grandma for only a year, my last year in high school, and I can be in Florida again. As a parent, what would you say to me?

Answer:
Not only social security, but schools and health care services are also being used by illegal aliens. They have no right to school or medical care if they are here illegally. They are breaking the law and they should be put in jail and then sent back to Mexico. Why should people who break the law be given any kind of reward or should be allowed to use any government benefits. I see all these rallies on t.v and they are all saying how they are Americans, but they are not Americans at all, they are law breakers and should pay like anyone else. I'm sorry that Mexico is so messed up, but it is not the job of the United states to help you out. I'm sure that if Americans started to cross into Mexico in huge numbers, the government of Mexico would be up in arms and the boarder would look more like a war zone. Mexico wants illegals here because it helps out Mexico, they don't put any money back into the u.s.a, they send it back home. And people also say how they are only taking jobs that Americans won't do, that's a bunch of crap, because they take good jobs from Americans and they drive our wages way down, why pay me 15 dollars an hour when they can pay an illegal 8 dollars to do the same job. Its wrong and has to stop.

Music suggestions for me? Question: I am a big fan of music. I also like a fairly wide variety. Though, I'm not really into the newer mainstream stuff. I despise rap (no offense meant) and the rock which is labeled "emo" (again, no offense meant). Here is a list of the musicians on my iTunes library. However, this list doesn't even compare to the bands/artists in my CD collection. But, if there is a band or artist that you think I may not have and think I would like, please say so! Any (obscure) music suggestions? Question: I'm up for suggestions! I made a list of the music that is on my computer so you can get an idea of what I listen to. As you can tell, my music taste varies. However, I despise most of the popular bands (okay, ALL) bands of today. Also, keep in mind that I have many more artists on CD that isn't on my computer so they are not listed....so, try to be as obscure as possible. Thank you!

Answer:
Some albums:
"The Way Of The Vaselines" by The Vaselines (quirky Scottish group, now defunct, influential on Nirvana)
"L'Amour Fou" by Kanda Bongo Man (soukous music from Zaire - brilliant guitar playing and very uplifting)
"Barbed Wire Kisses" by the Jesus & Mary Chain (it's a best-of, but as you don't have any, it's a start : )
"45s And Under" by Squeeze (great melodic pop from a songwriting duo who were heralded as the new Lennon-McCartney. Not quite, but worth checking out)
"Beers, Steers + Queers" by Revolting Cocks (the weirder side of industrial)
"Architecture & Morality" by Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (elegant early electronica from 1981)

Atheists: Why are their constants in the universe? Question: Fred Hoyle (British astrophysicist): "A common sense interpretation of the facts suggests that a superintellect has monkeyed with physics, as well as with chemistry and biology, and that there are no blind forces worth speaking about in nature. The numbers one calculates from the facts seem to me so overwhelming as to put this conclusion almost beyond question." (2)
George Ellis (British astrophysicist): "Amazing fine tuning occurs in the laws that make this [complexity] possible. Realization of the complexity of what is accomplished makes it very difficult not to use the word 'miraculous' without taking a stand as to the ontological status of the word." (3)
Paul Davies (British astrophysicist): "There is for me powerful evidence that there is something going on behind it all....It seems as though somebody has fine-tuned nature’s numbers to make the Universe....The impression of design is overwhelming". (4)
Paul Davies: "The laws [of physics] ... seem to be the product of exceedingly ingenious design... The universe must have a purpose". (5)
Alan Sandage (winner of the Crawford prize in astronomy): "I find it quite improbable that such order came out of chaos. There has to be some organizing principle. God to me is a mystery but is the explanation for the miracle of existence, why there is something instead of nothing." (6)
John O'Keefe (astronomer at NASA): "We are, by astronomical standards, a pampered, cosseted, cherished group of creatures.. .. If the Universe had not been made with the most exacting precision we could never have come into existence. It is my view that these circumstances indicate the universe was created for man to live in." (7)
George Greenstein (astronomer): "As we survey all the evidence, the thought insistently arises that some supernatural agency - or, rather, Agency - must be involved. Is it possible that suddenly, without intending to, we have stumbled upon scientific proof of the existence of a Supreme Being? Was it God who stepped in and so providentially crafted the cosmos for our benefit?" (8)
Arthur Eddington (astrophysicist): "The idea of a universal mind or Logos would be, I think, a fairly plausible inference from the present state of scientific theory." (9)
Arno Penzias (Nobel prize in physics): "Astronomy leads us to a unique event, a universe which was created out of nothing, one with the very delicate balance needed to provide exactly the conditions required to permit life, and one which has an underlying (one might say 'supernatural') plan." (10)
Roger Penrose (mathematician and author): "I would say the universe has a purpose. It's not there just somehow by chance." (11)
Tony Rothman (physicist): "When confronted with the order and beauty of the universe and the strange coincidences of nature, it's very tempting to take the leap of faith from science into religion. I am sure many physicists want to. I only wish they would admit it." (12)
Vera Kistiakowsky (MIT physicist): "The exquisite order displayed by our scientific understanding of the physical world calls for the divine." (13)
Robert Jastrow (self-proclaimed agnostic): "For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountains of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries." (14)
Stephen Hawking (British astrophysicist): "Then we shall… be able to take part in the discussion of the question of why it is that we and the universe exist. If we find the answer to that, it would be the ultimate triumph of human reason - for then we would know the mind of God." (15)
Frank Tipler (Professor of Mathematical Physics): "When I began my career as a cosmologist some twenty years ago, I was a convinced atheist. I never in my wildest dreams imagined that one day I would be writing a book purporting to show that the central claims of Judeo-Christian theology are in fact true, that these claims are straightforward deductions of the laws of physics as we now understand them. I have been forced into these conclusions by the inexorable logic of my own special branch of physics." (16)
Alexander Polyakov (Soviet mathematician): "We know that nature is described by the best of all possible mathematics because God created it."(17)
Ed Harrison (cosmologist): "Here is the cosmological proof of the existence of God – the design argument of Paley – updated and refurbished. The fine tuning of the universe provides prima facie evidence of deistic design. Take your choice: blind chance that requires multitudes of universes or design that requires only one.... Many scientists, when they admit their views, incline toward the teleological or design argument." (18)
Edward Milne (British cosmologist): "As to the cause of the Universe, in context of expansion, that is left for the reader to insert, but our picture is incomplete without Him [God]." (19)
Barry Parker (cosmologist): "Who created these laws? There is no question but that a God will always be needed." (20)
Drs. Zehavi, and Dekel (cosmologists): "This type of universe, however, seems to require a degree of fine tuning of the initial conditions that is in apparent conflict with 'common wisdom'." (21)
Arthur L. Schawlow (Professor of Physics at Stanford University, 1981 Nobel Prize in physics): "It seems to me that when confronted with the marvels of life and the universe, one must ask why and not just how. The only possible answers are religious. . . . I find a need for God in the universe and in my own life." (22)
Henry "Fritz" Schaefer (Graham Perdue Professor of Chemistry and director of the Center for Computational Quantum Chemistry at the University of Georgia): "The significance and joy in my science comes in those occasional moments of discovering something new and saying to myself, 'So that's how God did it.' My goal is to understand a little corner of God's plan." (23)
Wernher von Braun (Pioneer rocket engineer) "I find it as difficult to understand a scientist who does not acknowledge the presence of a superior rationality behind the existence of the universe as it is to comprehend a theologian who would deny the advances of science." (24)
Carl Woese (microbiologist from the University of Illinois) "Life in Universe - rare or unique? I walk both sides of that street. One day I can say that given the 100 billion stars in our galaxy and the 100 billion or more galaxies, there have to be some planets that formed and evolved in ways very, very like the Earth has, and so would contain microbial life at least. There are other days when I say that the anthropic principal, which makes this universe a special one out of an uncountably large number of universes, may not apply only to that aspect of nature we define in the realm of physics, but may extend to chemistry and biology. In that case life on Earth could be entirely unique." (25)
Antony Flew (Professor of Philosophy, former atheist, author, and debater) "It now seems to me that the findings of more than fifty years of DNA research have provided materials for a new and enormously powerful argument to design." (26)
Answer:
Yes, the universe is a wonderous place. It boggles the mind. It may well exceed our ability to ever truly understand.
If the universe didn't have the constants that it has, we wouldn't be having this conversation. Does it follow that the constants were set up just so for our benefit? That's just a latter-day version of "earth is the center of the universe" kind of thinking. Instead you could conclude that we are a consequence of the constants that the universe happens to have. There is no reason to suppose intentionality, and there is no reason to assume that anything like the God of the bible or of any human faith or mythology is responsible. That's just a bronze-age attempt to explain the universe that we find ourselves in. We may never be able to answer these questions fully, but we ought to be strive to do better.

This list is by no means an exhaustive list. This is a list of living scientists that have registered and had their credentials verified with answersingenesis.org
Here is a link to the ACTUAL list . It includes the inclusion procedure to be included on the list. I checked out the link from one of the answers and it was not even close.
http://www.answersingenesis.org/home/area/bios/scientist_inclus ion.asp
Klu, In minutes you were able to rule out that these respected scientists have done noteworthy research? I don't think so. In fact, these scientists were screened very carefully. It must really bother you that so many highly educated people are creationists.
Answer:
Good to know. Don't get offended by these people who posts messages here. They want show everyone that they are right. Just listen to them.
I am a Biology student in college and I am a Christian.
Atheists believe that because you are a Christian you completely dismiss evolution theories which is not true and can't be a "true" scientists which is a ignorant statement. There are many scientists who acknowledge God and are a positive influences of society.
Instead of looking at the past like this atheist do wasting their time and trying to figure out what happened in the beginning of the world. These Christians scientists already know what really happened in the past, they use their minds to improve the future and help others.
I believe that certain things have changed by evolution but not every single thing. I believe that God created everything first, but certain things changed, others disappeared, etc. Like dinosaurs for example.
Also there are more scientists who believe in God in the whole world as atheists. As a science student I interact with them all the time. Science is for everybody not only for atheists.........lol.
Let these people wins in their minds, You and me knows who is the true winner. They think they have more intellect than God himself, but let them be.
Not everything can be proved scientifically. History can't be proved scientifically, but it can be proved with evidence, and we have enough evidence to prove that Jesus existed and what was his purpose here. Remember than you can't repeat those events over and over and over to prove that it exists by being proved scientifically.
So scientific evidences are pretty weak and aren't that powerful like this people think.
Remember than these people love to challenge God and prove they are better than him, but soon they will have their time and they will know who has the power.

If I am overlooking it someone please point where it is! Thanks!
I don't understand why is Obama not on the list, all these people took a stand since day one! WHY can't I find his name, I am so disappointed!
Dave, these people on THAT day took a position, anyone can say anything to the contrary now, like take the popular position, but is that the SAME as voting THAT DAY with the info you have? Maybe that Dennis K. should be the nominee he is on the list! FROM DAY ONE!
He is trying to have his cake and eat it too, he did not campaign for a seat in the US Senate until 2 years after the war began, at that point anyone knew it was not a good war!
no where am I a Hillary supporter, she is better than Obama but neither will beat McCain!
Answer:
No he's not on there he's a shyster double-talking lawyer, inexperienced candidate, and vicious manipulator, who should prove himself in the Senate, not use his deep pockets to smear Hillary 24/7 and undermine a Democrat win!
Great Question and Documentation ;-)

Creationists? Question:
Scietists have said we have never written a peer reviewed paper, or been in a sciene journal... That's because the world won't let us.
*Question*
Does this make you feel all warm and cozy inside?
Om, I know what you are saying but that was not the point, the point was that we are not all dumb as you think we are.
This is not the complete list.
Answer:
Yes,and it is true that they will never get airtime in the mainstream media.Nor will they write textbooks. But then the truth has always been a precious commodity to be sought out by truthseekers. It can't be found in governmental schools or the press.
