City DescriptionBrooklet is a town in Bulloch County, Georgia, United States. It is located roughly 6 miles east of Statesboro. The population was 1,113 at the 2000 census. It is the home of the Southeast Bulloch School system. It is located along US Highway 80.

Brooklet is located at 32°22′56″N, 81°39′53″W (32.382175, -81.664695).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 3.1 square miles (8.0 km²), of which, 3.1 square miles (7.9 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (1.29%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,113 people, 422 households, and 302 families residing in the town. The population density was 364.0 people per square mile (140.4/km²). There were 467 housing units at an average density of 152.7/sq mi (58.9/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 79.96% White, 19.59% African American, 0.09% Native American, 0.36% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.44% of the population.

Cold water soak will only work if the stain is still fresh and wet. If it's dried, use the cheapest possible hairspray, like Final Net, and spray it directly on the stain. Use a lot of it-- you'll probably want a brand-new can just for this. Soak the ink stain good and hard and blot up the dissolving ink with a white paper towel. Blot, don't rub, because you want the inky solution to rise into the towel, not end up being ground into the rest of the shirt.
