moving to Boston from Georgia? Question: Ok so I plan on moving to Boston from Atlanta. I know I'm going to freeze and all that snow and stuff I've made it a point to visit during the winter so i can get a little taste of it. So saying that I will get to the real question. I currently work for the Ritz-Carlton, and I will be transferring to one of the Marriott locations in the city. My two fav choices are Marriott Long Warf or Copley Square. Which do you think would get the most business? I am a bartender and I guess i need a jude on the night life in each area. Thanks!
Answer:
Copley better for both getting more business and also for things around it (access to transportations, etc.).
I moved to Boston in Jan '98 with a perception of terrible winters. There can be bad days, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. I was surprised that they counted the storms ("this is the 3rd storm of the winter") - I figured it would be one continuous storm. The humidity and the ocean actually keep it from getting super cold there on most days - temps in 30s and 40s when I expected 10s and 20s. And they do a decent job of clearing the streets.
Winter there won't be perfect, but it wasn't as bad as advertised the 4 years I was there.

Army,Navy.Air Force,Georgia Tech .and Boston Collage are big schools why no university in there title?
Answer:
The term university is usually used to refer to a school that has several different colleges and which grants graduate degrees in several areas, and usually Doctoral degrees. But schools are not required to use the term university. It is not against the law to call yourself a college as BC does, even though it is a prestigious school that would certainly qualify as a university, Or you can use the term "Academy" as the service schools do, or the term Institute, as Georgia Tech, MIT and Caltech and many other schools do. They do it the way they like, that they feel reflects their proud histories.

Do small trailers like from u haul hurt small cars like a Mitsubishi lancer? Question: My husband and I are moving as much as we can to Boston from Georgia. We only will use our Lancer to move and were wondering if a small trailer attachment would harm our car.
Answer:
U-Haul will not rent any trailer to someone picking it up with a car. You do risk ruining the tranny. Why do that?
Get a regular U-Haul truck and pay now without taking a chance of ruining your tranny.
