City DescriptionAuburn is a city in Barrow and Gwinnett Counties, Georgia. The population was 6,904 at the 2000 census.
Auburn is located at 34°1′0″N, 83°49′55″W (34.016692, -83.831869).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 5.3 square miles (13.8 km²), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 6,904 people, 2,260 households, and 1,846 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,293.3 people per square mile (499.2/km²). There were 2,322 housing units at an average density of 435.0/sq mi (167.9/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 88.80% White, 2.64% African American, 0.30% Native American, 4.17% Asian, 0.06% Pacific Islander, 2.23% from other races, and 1.80% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.35% of the population.
There were 2,260 households out of which 51.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.0% were married couples living together, 9.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 18.3% were non-families. 12.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 1.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. Who will win the Auburn-Georgia game?
Question:
I am amped, and eagerly anticipating Saturday's game. The original Vegas line was set at Pick'Em, and, objectively, I consider this one to be a toss-up. I saw Auburn's performances at UF and at LSU, so I know they're a good road team, and capable. The Dawgs have shown what they can do when they bring intensity as well.
How do you all see the game turning out? Obviously I believe in my Dawgs, but I don't think it'll be a cakewalk.
I don't have the anxiety that I usually have for a big Georgia game because UGA has slayed its biggest demon, the Gators, and I'm still savoring that a little. With the SEC East title possibly on the line, the pressure to win the game is great, but I'm going to actually try to sit back and relax, and actually enjoy, as opposed biting nails throughout.
Anyway, what do you folks think? Who's gonna prevail? And what will be the keys to victory?
I will wait until right after the game to award the 10 points to the individual who not only picked the winner correctly, but gave the best reasons.

If any game goes to OT this week, this would be the game. It will be a showdown. If it were on the plains instead of between the hedges I would have with the tigers, but Athens is a tough place to play and with Stafford's arm and Moreno's legs and think the Dawgs should pull this one out. I would like to see the Dawgs win anyway so it doesn't make Bama's lose look as bad.

anyone who says UGa vs ASU hasn't ever seen an Auburn LSU game lol.. c'mon the eventual national champion needs a bomb with 2 seconds left on the clock at home to beat Auburn.. (2007).. typically games end up like 2004's 10-9 victory by Auburn.. it's the single most vicious game of the season in college football and to quote Herbstreit "this game is a war!"..

i have a 3.1 i've done cross country and lacrosse all four years
i did AP Latin and AP Psychology i took honors english and history for 3 years, and was part of Latin club and i got around a 1500 out of the 2400 one on my SATS
i also live in northern virginia so my grading scale is hard its like 94-100 = A, 90-93 B+, 84-89=B and so on

I got accepted to Auburn for Fall 2008! I have a 4.1 GPA and got a 25 on the ACT. If you want to go there in the fall, you have already missed the deadline for admission. Auburn also considers Alabama residents above everyone else but with good grades and test scores you will be considered for admission.
If you are still in high school i would suggest trying to bring up your GPA and taking the SAT or ACT again and applying for fall 2009.
As for Ohio, Georgia, and UA, I'm not sure about their admission requirements. Visit their websites and start applying for scholorships NOW! It is never too early!

I don't know, but I'm an Auburn fan and I must say, the whole "black-out" thing was AWESOME, lol. Georgia, yet again, killed Auburn, but I cannot get over the "black-out." The was genius for Mark Richt to do that.

Yes it soooooo sucked. I hated sitting in the cold rain on Saturday to watch us look like the same team that played Arkansas. Well Miss, you know how it goes though, we beat Georgia in Athens and they beat us at home. The away team has won this game most of the time over the last 2 decades.

They have to get past Steve Spurrier and the Gamecocks first. I'm an LSU fan but I know that Steve will give the Bulldogs all they want. I am hoping that Georgia wins the SEC East so that they can get beat down by LSU twice the same year.
