    Atlantis Resort in Bahams?!?!?
    Question:
I am planning my Wedding in Florida and Honeymoon in the Bahamas. Would really appreciate any advice from people who have stayed at Atlantis. It looks so beautiful but busy! How much does anyone think a flight would cost from Orlando to Paradise Island? And is Atlantis a romantic place for honeymooners?! What is included in the price of you night accomodation? I know there is so much to do and so many things to see which is why we intend to stay at least five nights. Money isnt really a problem I would just like to know how much anyone thinks I'll need? By the way we are planning November 08. Thanks! Thanks for all your response, I would also like to add that we want tromantyic but not quiet so I think it sounds like a perfect place. Neither of us do relaxing very well and think we'd get bored somewhere really qiet and tranquil! This is why we are getting married at Disney world!

    Answer:
1st, CONGRATULATIONS! yes, Atlantis is romantic in it's own way, if you like having alot of people around. There is plenty to do around the complex, water activities, casino, shops, etc. Atlantis is quite nice but there is a steady flow of tourists going through. The standard rooms are just that... standard, nothing special. There is a Comfort Inn that allows you full access to Atlantis. The rooms are are pretty much like the standard rooms at Atlantis. Of course, you can always upgrade & the rooms do get nicer the more you spend. There are many "hidden" charges that people don't realize when booking rooms in the Bahamas, such as "resort fees, energy surcharge, daily maid fee" etc. This can add up to quite a bit at the end of a trip. Airfare shouldn't be much more than $350 per person on a direct flight. Many of the planes that fly direct are small though. I prefer small planes due to the speed of boarding/unboarding. ( no overhead bins in the really small planes :) For all-inclusive resorts, such as RIU which is very near Atlantis, the price you pay includes your food, drinks, some activities, all taxes/fees. There are several other AI's as well in Nassau. Hope this helped :)

Concerning Atlantis, was mentioned in Edgar Cayce's readings in the 1920's,he said it will raise up again.
    Question:
I have seen an article some time ago that mentions that not far from the Atlantic Ocean's surface there is a rectangular shaped plato, somewhere south east of Florida (the depth said 30-50 yard) raising up from the bottom and can be seen from planes that fly over the area. I cannot recall the name of the source.Did anybody see any of this or similar articles ??

    Answer:
Edgar cayce was a fraud. Why would anyone take any notice of what he said? His diagnoses were about as well-informed as his suggested cures. For example, we have his reading for psoriasis as, "The conditions that exist through the thinning of the walls of the intestines allow the poisons to find expressions in the lymph circulation; thus producing the irritation to and through the epidermis itself" (The Edgar Cayce Website, ecayce.tripod.com, from reading #2455-2, May 21, 1941). Funny, I have psoriasis and my doctor never mentioned thinning intestinal walls to me--nor do any of the medical websites I've consulted. Cayce supporters probably don't like to talk about his failures in healing members of his own family. According to Beyerstein, Cayce's cousin, Ike, appealed to him for help but died. And one of Cayce's own sons died as a baby in 1911. As if these weren't bad enough, we have several documented cases of Cayce advising how to cure dead people, in connection with readings using letters they sent to him. In these cases, the letters had been written while the person was still alive, but by the time he made his psychic "diagnosis," they were dead. Whoops! Of course, his followers have excuses for this type of thing, but it seems to me if he's getting his information through magical means, he should know this particular person is beyond help. Those excuses apparently followed every obvious screw-up. Mind you, most of his failures weren't so obvious. As James Randi notes in Flim Flam: "The rationalizations that Cayce and his supporters used to explain his numerous and notable failures are prime examples of the art of evasion." He later notes, "Cayce was fond of expressions like 'I feel that' and 'perhaps'--qualifying words used to avoid positive declarations. It is a common tool in the psychic trade. Many of the letters he received--in fact, most--contained specific details about the illnesses for which readings were required, and there was nothing to stop Cayce from knowing the contents of the letters and presenting that information as if it were a divine revelation. To one who has been through dozens of similar diagnoses, as I have, the methods are obvious. It is merely a specialized version of the 'generalization' technique of fortune-tellers." Let's move on briefly to some other areas where Cayce tried to use his vast psychic powers. One example discussed in detail by Randi is Cayce's extraordinary failure in divining information about the Lindbergh kidnapping case. I bet you won't find too many Cayce supporters talking about that one. Another failure was his attempt to find buried treasure. After several weeks of trying, with the additional help of a well-known dowser, he found nothing. The only thing they had to show for their work was excuses. Some of these are hysterical, such as the one about ghosts of Native Americans and pirates playing tricks with the psychic energy, or the claim that the treasure had been there but was already dug up by somebody else, or maybe it would be buried there at some future date. It's amazing that his magical powers could supposedly diagnose somebody from across the country, but couldn't tell the difference between the past, present, and future. Another amusing prediction was that the U.S. would discover an Atlantean death ray (as in, one from Atlantis) in 1958. I suppose his supporters might claim the government actually did find it, but it's hidden away with the aliens from Roswell due to its dangerous nature. The point is that, as with every other well-known "psychic" I've seen/heard about/read about, the claims simply don't stand up to scrutiny.

Great family vacation with things to do (toddlers, less than 5)?
    Question:
Where would you take toddlers on vacation if you DON'T want to just stick them in the Kid's Day Care but you do want a resort, beach, warm weather, attractions, etc.? We were looking at Atlantis in the Bahamas because of the water slides, aquarium, etc. but it is too far away from California. I'm thinking Florida at the furthest, Texas? Hawaii? S. California? Mexico?? Specific resorts please.

    Answer:
Club Med has some resorts that are oriented towards families with activities for small kids. The closest ones to you that has facilities for kids is Sandpiper in Orlando, FL (http://www.clubmed.us/cgi-bin/clubmed55/SP/villagesHeading.do?PA YS=115&LANG=US&CODLSC=SANC) and Ixtapa Pacific in Acapulco (http://www.clubmed.us/cgi-bin/clubmed55/SP/villagesHeading.do?PA YS=115&LANG=US&CODLSC=IXTC). The Sandpiper sounds like a good place to look into because you will also have all the Orlando attractions to go to if you want to venture outside of the resort. The only downside is that it is not on the ocean.

what is barmuda triangle and where it is situated? is it mistry of this world http://miss-aishwaryarai.page.tl
    Question:
http://miss-aishwaryarai.page.tl The Bermuda Triangle (also known as Devil's Triangle) is a nearly half-million square-mile (1.2 million km2) area of ocean roughly defined by Bermuda, Puerto Rico, and the southernmost tip of Florida. The Bermuda Triangle has become popular through representation by the mass media, in which it is a paranormal site in which the known laws of physics are either violated, altered, or both. http://miss-aishwaryarai.page.tl While there is a common belief that a number of ships and airplanes have disappeared under highly unusual circumstances in this region, the United States Coast Guard and others disagree with that assessment, citing statistics demonstrating that the number of incidents involving lost ships and aircraft is no larger than that of any other heavily traveled region of the world. Many of the alleged mysteries have proven not so mysterious or unusual upon close examination, with inaccuracies and misinformation about the cases often circulating and recirculating over the decades. http://miss-aishwaryarai.page.tl The triangle is an arbitrary shape, crudely marking out a corridor of the Atlantic, stretching northward from the West Indies, along the North American seaboard, as far as the Carolinas. In the Age of Sail, ships returning to Europe from parts south would sail north to the Carolinas, then turn east for Europe, taking advantage of the prevailing wind direction across the North Atlantic. Even with the development of steam and internal-combustion engines, a great deal more shipping traffic was (and still is) found nearer the US coastline than towards the empty centre of the Atlantic. The Triangle also loosely conforms with the course of the Gulf Stream as it leaves the West Indies, and has always been an area of volatile weather. The combination of distinctly heavy maritime traffic and tempestuous weather meant that a certain, also distinctly large, number of vessels would flounder in storms. Given the historical limitations of communications technology, most of those ships that sank without survivors would disappear without a trace. The advent of wireless communications, radar, and satellite navigation meant that the unexplained disappearances largely ceased at some point in the 20th Century. The occasional vessel still sinks, but rarely without a trace. It should be noted that both the concept and the name of the Bermuda Triangle date only to the 1960s, and were the products of an American journalist. http://miss-aishwaryarai.page.tl Other areas often purported to possess unusual characteristics are the Devil's Sea, located near Japan, and the Marysburgh Vortex or the Great Lakes Triangle, located in eastern Lake Ontario. Map of the popularly-held dimensions of the Bermuda Triangle; recent claims by researchers alude to a more "trapezium" shape, extending back into the Gulf of Mexico and down into the Caribbean Sea.Contents History The cover of the 1977 Panther paperback edition of Berlitz's The Bermuda Triangle First citations The first mention of disappearances in the area was made in 1950 by E.V.W. Jones as a sidebar on the Associated Press wire service regarding recent ship losses. Jones' article notes the "mysterious disappearances" of ships, airplanes and small boats in the region, and ascribes it the name "The Devil's Triangle". It was next mentioned in 1952 in a Fate Magazine article by George X. Sand, who outlined several "strange marine disappearances". The term "Bermuda Triangle" was popularized by Vincent Gaddis in a 1964 Argosy feature. http://miss-aishwaryarai.page.tl Popularized by Berlitz The area achieved its current fame largely through the efforts of Charles Berlitz in his 1974 book The Bermuda Triangle (right) and its subsequent film adaptation. The book recounts a long series of mysterious disappearances of ships and aircraft, in particular the December 1945 loss of five U.S. Navy Avenger torpedo bombers in the infamous Flight 19 incident. The book was a bestseller and included several theories about the cause of the disappearances, including accidents due to high traffic volumes; natural storms; "temporal holes"; the lost empire of Atlantis; transportation by extraterrestrial technology; and other natural or supernatural causes. Skeptical responses The marine insurer Lloyd's of London has determined the "triangle" to be no more dangerous than any other area of ocean, and does not charge unusual rates for passage through the region. Coast Guard records confirm their conclusion. http://miss-aishwaryarai.page.tl Skeptics comment that the disappearance of a train between two stops would be more convincing evidence of paranormal activity, and the fact that such things do not occur suggests that paranormal explanations are not needed for the disappearance of ships and airplanes in the far less predictable open ocean. http://miss-aishwaryarai.page.tl Kusche's research Intrigued by the number of students coming to him looking for information about the Bermuda Triangle, Lawrence Kusche, a reference librarian with Arizona State University at the time of the Flight 19 incident, began an exhaustive follow-up investigation of the original reports. His findings were eventually published in 1975 as The Bermuda Triangle Mystery: Solved. http://miss-aishwaryarai.page.tl Kusche's research revealed a number of inaccuracies and inconsistencies between Berlitz's accounts and statements from eyewitnesses, participants and others involved in the initial incidents. He noted cases where pertinent information went unreported, such as the disappearance of round-the-world yachtsman Donald Crowhurst which Berlitz had presented as a mystery, despite clear evidence that Crowhurst had fabricated the accounts of his voyage and had probably committed suicide. Another example was the ore-carrier Berlitz recounted as lost without trace three days out of an Atlantic port when it had been lost three days out of a port with the same name in the Pacific Ocean. Kusche also argued that a large percentage of the incidents attributed to the Bermuda Triangle's mysterious influence actually occurred well outside it. Kusche came to several conclusions: The number of ships and airplanes reported missing in the area was not significantly greater, proportionally speaking, than any other part of the ocean. In an area frequented by tropical storms, the number of disappearances that did occur was neither disproportionate, unlikely, nor mysterious. The numbers themselves had been exaggerated by sloppy research. A boat listed as missing would be reported, but not necessarily its eventual, if belated, return to port. The circumstances of confirmed disappearances were frequently misreported in Berlitz's accounts. The numbers of ships disappearing in supposedly calm weather, for instance, did not tally with weather reports published at the time. Methane hydrates Main article: Methane clathrate An explanation for some of the disappearances focuses on the presence of vast fields of methane hydrates on the continental shelves. A paper was published in 1981 by the United States Geological Survey about the appearance of hydrates in the Blake Ridge area, off the southeastern United States coast. Periodic methane eruptions may produce regions of frothy water that are no longer capable of providing adequate buoyancy for ships. If this were the case, such an area forming around a ship could cause it to sink very rapidly and without warning. Laboratory experiments have proven that bubbles can, indeed, sink a scale model ship by decreasing the density of the water. Hypothetically, methane gas might also be involved in airplane crashes, as it is not as dense as normal air and thus would not generate the amount of lift required to keep the airplane flying. Methane can cut out an aircraft engine with very little levels of it in the atmosphere. Tidal waves Main article: Freak wave Research has shown that tidal, freak, or rogue waves can reach up to 30 m (100 feet) in height and are capable of sinking large ships within moments. Although these are very rare, in some areas ocean currents mean they happen more often than the normal. Such waves have now been hypothesized as a cause for many unexplained shipping losses over the years. Some research suggests that some of these waves are caused by giant bubbles of methane rising to the surface. These giant bubbles are created when methane vents at the ocean bottom become clogged; then pressure builds up and eventually the gas bursts out and rises rapidly to the surface thus generating the wave. Research has shown that such bubbles are able to sink scale sized ships with great ease and speed. Famous incidents Flight 19 Main article: Flight 19 One of the known Bermuda Triangle incidents concerns the loss of Flight 19, a squadron of five U.S. Navy TBM Avenger torpedo bombers on a training flight out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on December 5, 1945. According to Berlitz, the flight consisted of expert Marine Corps aviators who, after reporting a number of odd visual effects, simply disappeared, an account which isn't entirely true. Furthermore, Berlitz claims that because the TBM Avenger bombers were built to float for long periods, they should have been found the next day considering what were reported as calm seas and a clear sky. However, not only were they never found, a Navy search and rescue seaplane that went after them was also lost. Adding to the intrigue is that the Navy's report of the accident was ascribed to "causes or reasons unknown". While the basic facts of Berlitz's version of the story are essentially accurate, some important details are missing. The image of a squadron of seasoned combat aviators disappearing on a sunny afternoon is inaccurate. Rather, it was a squadron of lost, inexperienced flight trainees forced to ditch their out-of-fuel airplanes into unknown stormy waters in the dark of night. As for the Navy's report, it is claimed that the original report blamed the accident on the commander's confusion (Lt. Taylor abandoned his airplanes twice in the Pacific after getting lost returning to his carrier), but the wording was changed in deference to the wishes of his family. Another factor to consider is that the TBM Avenger Aircraft were never designed for crash-landing into water. Wartime experience in the Pacific showed that an Avenger aircraft would sink very quickly if landed on the water. Especially with novice pilots at the helm - an Avenger would be very difficult to land on calm water - let alone the perilous rough seas in the Bermuda Triangle. Star Tiger If the disappearance of Flight 19 had been an isolated incident, it would have remained one of the great mysteries of modern aviation. However, aircraft disappearances continued to be reported near the same location, some accompanied by equally extended and confusing radio traffic, including that of a four-engine Tudor IV airliner named Star Tiger, in the predawn hours of January 31, 1948. Piloted by Captain B. W. McMillan, the airliner, which carried twenty-nine passengers and crew on board, had left hours earlier from Santa Maria, Azores, one of numerous scheduled fuel stopover points on its route from London, England to Havana, Cuba. While approaching Bermuda, McMillan made the expected contact with Kindley Field, the next stopover, requesting a radio bearing to calibrate his navigation systems and ensure he remained on course. With the response indicating that the plane was slightly off course, its position was corrected after Bermuda relayed a first-class bearing of 72 degrees from the island. At this point, with Star Tiger less than two hours flight away, McMillan gave confirmation of an ETA of 05:00 hours, an hour late due to strong headwinds; no further transmission from the aircraft was ever received. Armed with precise reports of the plane's last known position, rescue operations were launched after the craft was determined overdue for arrival; but no trace of the aircraft was ever found. In the report issued soon thereafter by the Civil Air Ministry, numerous hypotheses as to what might have occurred during the flight's final two hours are given, before each being subsequently rejected: "There would accordingly be no grounds for supposing that Star Tiger fell into the sea in consequence of having been deprived of her radio, having failed to find her destination, and having exhausted her fuel." "There is good reason to suppose that no distress message was transmitted from the aircraft, for there were many radio receiving stations listening on the aircraft's frequencies, and none reported such a message." "...The weather was stable, there were no atmospheric disturbances of a serious kind which might cause structural damage to the aircraft, and there were no electrical storms." It was ruled that the aircraft could not have gone off course, as the broadcast bearing from Bermuda, with winds prevailing, would have brought it within thirty miles of the island: "The aircraft could hardly have failed to find the island in a short time, in the conditions of visibility which prevailed." Engine difficulty was ruled out as a likely cause, since at such late stage in the flight, without the added weight of extra fuel aboard, the aircraft might have been flown safely on three, or even two, engines instead of the four it had. The probability of the aircraft entirely losing three engines in the course of under two hours was considered absurd. Faced with the accumulation of evidence, or perhaps lack thereof, the board of investigation addressed the loss of the Star Tiger with remarked eloquence: "In closing this report it may truly be said that no more baffling problem has ever been presented for investigation. In the complete absence of any reliable evidence as to either the nature or the cause of the accident of Star Tiger the Court has not been able to do more than suggest possibilities, none of which reaches the level even of probability. Into all activities which involve the co-operation of man and machine two elements enter of a very diverse chaarcter [sic?]. There is an incalculable element of the human equation dependent upon imperfectly known factors; and there is the mechanical element subject to quite different laws. A breakdown may occur in either separately or in both in conjunction. Or some external cause may overwhelm both man and machine. What happened in this case will never be known and the fate of Star Tiger must remain an unsolved mystery." 2 years ago http://miss-aishwaryarai.page.tl

    Answer:
I've been through the area on a number of ships and there is nothing mysterious about it. The only mystery is why people think there is something supernatural about the area simply because nobody can come up with a definite explanation of what happened in the cases quoted.

    where to holiday in November?
    Question:
Hi, I am curious what other people may suggest. I am planning a holiday in November ;we have a little 12 mo baby and a 15 yo hence I am a bit reluctant to go somewhere *very* cold (CO, canada etc). Money is not a problem. at this stage I am thinking Atlantis (Bahamas) or Maui (HI) but I wouldn't mind some nice resort on the motherland (Florida?) or Caribbean (where?). We also like to possibly go out in the evenings, shows (which Atlantis and Maui are not so famous for). If any of you had a pleasant experience we would love to hear. Thanks

    Answer:
Except when I was in the Army I spent all my Thanksgiving Holidays with family. That's what it's all about being together with your family at a special time like this. All of these were in Florida although New England would be interesting. Enjoy

I want to buy a really cool gun.?
    Question:
Ive been watching a little show called Stargate Sg-1 it even spawned off another show called Stargate Atlantis and a few movies. Ive been watching this show since the original movie, they main gun they use in the show is called a P-90 its a sick gun I have seen it in real life and its breath taking, thus heres my question what does it take for me in the state of Florida to buy this really cool gun? I no guns our not a toy but I am saying that this is a cool gun that I would love to use at the range.

    Answer:
Wow those were all really useless answers. If you're looking for a full-auto version of this gun expect to pay upwards of 15,000 dollars. Civilian legal version around 2000. As far as obtaining a full auto version, class 3 atf form $215 dollars, class 3 dealer transfer $50, destroying things with gun priceless. www.impactguns.com is a great website at about the best prices you'll find around, and they do firearms transfers.

How much would you make if you were in dinner theater/disney world or universal studios actor/tress?
    Question:
I was just thinking about things, one being Dinner theater (like Arabian Nights or the Pirate Show in Orlando Florida) and it got me to thinking about just how much these ppl get paid. Then that got me to thinking how much those ppl in Universal Studios and Disney World get paid for doing shows like "Beauty and the Beast" at Disney, and "Atlantis" in Universal, make. They are actors and actresses, but its not like its professional, but they work for huge industries, so idk how well they would really be paid. So my questions are: 1) how much would and actor/actress get paid for a dinner show? (leads and extras) 2) how much would those actors and actresses get paid at Disney and Universal? so, yeah, i want a pretty accurate answer. Its very interesting for me. :) thanks

    Answer:
The Bureau of Labor Statistics indicates that dinner theater performers on average earn $14 for disney and the like i dont know... I knew a goofy there before and he told me of the horros that disney puts its performers through. Working in a theme park/cruise ship should be one of the last things to try out of desperation. These large coorperations usually pay very low wages, expect lots of commitment, almost ell you how to live... The problem is most folks dont figure it out until they get there and realize the strangeness they are involved with. Then its too late. If you are young and you are thinking disney is all that. you need some time to mature, to let the sparkly eyed child in you grow up a bit and rethink your world view. goto www.bls.gov and you can see what people earn.

Dreams That I Had in 2007?
    Question:
The day I seen UFO’s It was like no other. The date was January 11, 2007 at 7:20pm I seen UFO’s, I remember going outside with my dog Yorkshire terrier named Jake. We were in the front yard I was letting him used the bathroom on the grass. I remember in my mind I thought of a Creator I learned about named Yahweh. I said to my self Yahweh please let me see a UFO. Sure enough no lye I seen UFO’s 12 UFO’s in a row that lead of to 12-16 each in a shape of a pyramid they were heading east in a zigzagging motion. My dog was looking at the street and he seen the blue reflection from the concrete. So that’s why I know they were their for real and my mind was not playing tricks on me. The color of these UFO’s was like the color of water at the Bahamas a clear blue with a neon glow to them. It was the most amazing thing I had ever seen hopefully I see more. I did my research on this happening with me and I live in Florida and Israel lines exactly up with the place I live it you was to draw a line from here to their. My dream I had 4 months later on May was the most strangest ever. I see why Moses was scared when it sounds like a man you con not see is speaking to you. I was sleep and I went into a dream I was in the first person view and I can see my dream about 85 % visual. I was in some type of woods walking on this kind of mountain I do not know where I was … As I dreamed on I stopped in my spot on the mountain and a bush began to glow like if rays was shooting from it. As I looked I felt heat from this shinny place. When suddenly I heard a voice says ‘Keep Reading Those Books, You’ll Attain More Insight’ I woke up kind of scared. The next day of May I had a part two to my dream. I was sleeping in my outer body so good that I didn’t wake up in my inner body dream I was scared kind of with my mouth wide looking at this shiny place. Then the light shined and I seen this man I seen his face and he was black and he looked like me but around the age of 45 or 55 and he had clothes like if he came from the ancient days of Egypt or Israel. His turban was like a dark blue and it was kind of sliding off his head to where I could see some of his hair. He waved to me and I waved back as I was scared I walked away kind of scared when he smiled at me and returned to the light and then I woke up again. The coolest thing ever is that I read the Old Testament and Ancient Sumerian, Babylonian, Native American and Mayan Epics and some Epics on Atlantis. The fact is that these books this voice told me to ‘Keep Reading These Books You’ll Attain More Insight’ was this voice of a man who sounded black telling me that it’s a mystery that they won’t me to understand.

    Answer:
The books that you are studying about ancient peoples along with the Old Testament, seems to have connected you too this spirit in your dream, encouraging your pursuit of knowledge and insight. Hopefully you will find out more about this spirit you connected with, but it appears that this is a pretty wise, and valuable spirit too be encouraging you. The light associated with dream, and the burning bush, may mean this is a really special spirit. Your UFO account was interesting. I try not to read too much into a dream, because I don't like to jump to conclusions too much. Meditate/pray, exercise, and eat healthy, so that you will get even stronger spiritually, and maybe have even more interesting dreams, along with getting more insight from your studies.
