    Always check orbitz.com first. This will give you an idea of the price. Then go to the individual airlines site, you have more flexibility when choosing your flights and times. Stay away from the consolidator websites such as Priceline, Hotwire, Cheaptickets etc. They buy the bottom tier, most restricted fares and then add their own restrictions. Airlines can not touch them for any reason as far as making changes and they are completely non-refundable or changable for any reason no matter what. I work for an airline and too many times people don't understand what they are getting into. You want to stick with flying in and out of Orlando at best. You will have more options for non-stop flights. As of today at 1:00pm Delta is offering non-stop service from Orlando to LAX for $384. That should still be operated by our low cost version airline called Song. Every seat is coach and has Direct TV as well as pay-per-view movies and games. If you have kids, they will truely enjoy the flight as well. If its mainline Delta, you will also have the comfort of going non-stop and avoiding getting held up flying to Atlanta or any other hub from any other airline. With it being summer, try to avoid any connections if you can. On Delta.com I got the same fare and chose both non-stop flights. Orbitz offers non-stop MCO-LAX but returning Via Atlanta. Being in Orlando (MCO) you want to leave on an early morning flight to avoid any delay's with the afternoon weather. The return is a red-eye leaving LAX at 10:45pm. This is all the same research you can do for yourself. The longer you wait the more the price will go up. You need to book soon because the flight is already filling up from MCO and the lower fares are going fast. Stay away from departing on Friday and Saturdays, that will raise the price considerably, but this is peak summer travel season especially in Orlando. Save time and check in online. If you check bags, remember every airport is now a one hour cut off on checking in and 50lb is the limit per bag and only 2 bags are allowed at check-in. Orlando will be a mad house this time of year so allow more than ample time to get through security.

It flows underground into a sinkhole (the sinkhole is not visible, the river appears to dead end) and then reappears about 3 miles away. The two areas are parks these days, O'Leno and River Rise, and I was curious if anyone knew if this occurred naturally anywhere else in the world? I have been there before and it is really quite fascinating, the former river route is visible and you can see lots of interesting things on the hike from sink to rise. If you look on a map program you'll see the river just disappear for a few miles. Search O'Leno State Park in High Springs I believe. Thanks. Oh, thanks, very interesting. Anyone else know of any?

    Should I turn myself into jail?

    Just Got Back into the U.S. after being in Costa Rica on Business. Coming through immigration in Atlanta (GA) I was detained for having an outstanding warrant in Alachua County Florida. All the Immigration agents could tell me was that I had a warrant and that after calling Alachua County Sheriffs all they could do is let me go and they gave me a number to call. I called the sheriff's department and they said that the warrant for my arrest had been issued 6 months ago for a case that was over 2 years old and the warrant had been put into effect after the court sent a summons to the wrong address being that I had moved so long ago. All the information they could give me concerning the charges was that I had a charge for battery and needed to turn myself in to the Dept. of the Jail and get a new summons to appear in court. I have no idea what I am being charged for nor does anyone want to help me at the sherrif's dept. What should I do? Can they withhold informing me of the charges?

My mother simply wants to redo her will but the Seminole County attorney says that is no longer my mother's option. Something is not right with this situation. I feel I am in a dangerous situation with my mother with this over-meddling attorney. Please, would someone step forward and provide concrete advice?

    This is crazy, you're merely refusing her services and she wants to lock up your mother?! I don't think she can't declare your mom incompetent unless you gave her power of attorney and she went behind your back and discredited your mom. I would do a background check on this nut. Find out from your state bar association if there were any complaints filed on Miss Crazy Attorney and ask them for legal protection, because she sounds like she's overstepping her legal boundaries and hitting you with harassment. They can disbar her immediately.

    Fraud and Forgery?

    An attorney advised me to fetch my mother from Ohio (she had been there for four months when a cousin of mine had basically kidnapped her) and then return my mother to Florida but not to Alachua county, where we are homestead. The attorney said we must live in Seminole County while she obtains a guardianship for me over my mom. I had NO IDEA what I was getting into. So, we went back home to Alachua County. Seminole County judge then revoked me as an emergency guardian, continued the proceedings in the wrong venue, and now all of my mothers assets and my homesteaded house are in the guardian's possession. WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT THIS? In addition, I just discovered that the original application for guardianship wasn't even signed by me. It was forged by the attorney who had me move to her town of Oviedo, Florida. I am more than distraught. I need a solution that does not involve hiring an attorney or dealing with a corrupt court system. Any suggestions? THIS SIT. IS REAL.

    This is a BIZARRE situation. (1) An attorney instructed me to fetch my mother from Ohio and bring her back to Florida and find an apartment in Seminole County. (2) After doing so, she created an emergency request to the court that granted me a temporary guardianship for 60 days. (3) Then she had me pay her an additional $2,000 for a bond of $800,000. (4) Meanwhile, my mother wanted to go back to her home in Alachua County and was happy as lark to have been retrieved from Ohio where a meddling cousin of mine had put her in a nursing home where she was continuously ill and near death. (5) My mom doesn't seem to really qualify for a guardianship because she is sharp of mind. (6) The Seminole Co, upon hearing that I just want to go back to Alachua Co. with my mother became furious with me and said that the court can now declare my mother incompetent and appoint someone else as guardian if I do not sign the bond. This attorney also wanted to accompany me to the banks. Suggest?

    Why would you bring her to Seminole county and file there, instead of Alachua? No wonder the judge was mad. What jurisdiction did he even have over you or your mother if neither one of you live in the county? You are cluttering up his courts. If your mother did not need a conservatorship, then how did she end up being abused in a nursing home? If she needs a conservatorship, a bond is required to guarantee to the court that you won't take all of mom's money and dump her in the nearest nursing home yourself. If you don't understand this process, get a new lawyer that can explain it to you.
