Im looking for anyone who has bought a vehicle from 4 X 4 Auto in Cortez Colorado. Did your transaction go smoothly or was there problems?
Answer:
It went well until the end. They guy selling the insurance for breakdowns wouldn't take no for an answer. But you can do what I did. You have 3 days to change your mind on things like that. So when I got home I called the number and cancelled it. Also when they sent me the customer satisfaction form I let them know about the guy.

This is to help the families of a few friends of mine who have gotten themselves heroin addicted just by trying the drug once at a party. I want to be able to help them, so if anyone has suggestions, I would really appreciate it.

It is too far from me to travel there to look at right now -(won't buy untill I see in person anyway) but I just need to know if anyone knows anything about the area to see if I should make the time to go up there to see it right away or just scrap the idea altogether It is in S.W. CO. and the pictures look great
It is not remote and has all that is needed ie. water,electric.phone.

I grew up just outside of Cortez, and in my opinion, it is really one of the most beautiful places in the world. The scenery is idyllic in many areas and it's really a nice place to live if you like small towns. The people there are beginning to be much more tolerant of outsiders, but just like a lot of small communities, but there are still a few problems here and there.
I would suggest looking at the local newspaper at cortezjournal.com and check it out that way first. You might check out the chamber of commerce website also. Check out Dolores and Mancos, too. The whole area is well worth seeing.
Depending on where you're located in AZ, it's usually a days drive from almost anywhere to Cortez. I lived in PHX for several years and it's a pleasant 6-7 hour drive to Cortez.
I live in Oklahoma right now and I currently have two pieces of property in the county and I hope to eventually retire there also. Check it out and have fun. Good luck.
