City DescriptionKings Beach is a census-designated place (CDP) in Placer County, California, United States. It is part of the Sacramento–Arden-Arcade–Roseville Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 4,037 at the 2000 census.
Kings Beach is located at 39°14′28″N 120°1′24″W / 39.24111, -120.02333 (39.241170, -120.023295).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.4 square miles (8.9 km²), all of it land.
As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 4,037 people, 1,411 households, and 788 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 454.4/km² (1,176.4/sq mi). There were 2,284 housing units at an average density of 665.6/sq mi (257.1/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 70.03% White, 0.72% Black or African American, 1.88% Native American, 0.40% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 23.61% from other races, and 3.34% from two or more races. 48.43% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 1,411 households out of which 34.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 39.4% were married couples living together, 8.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 44.1% were non-families. 28.3% of all households were ...
